I just used USMLE world only for step 2. It’s not as intense as step 1

Ah okay, maybe I’ll hold off on buying it for now. The school already got us COMBANK (even though it’s not open to us yet...) and I haven’t even decided if I’m gonna try and double back and take Step 1 yet.

I think I’m just freaking out about my shelf exams, even though I was told that the resources I’m using are good and the psych one isn’t hard... typical late night me

combank comat banks apparently have some questions exactly from the comats (can not vouch for sure, but have heard)

Oh okay, that’s good to know. Hopefully from what I’m hearing I won’t need it for psych!

UWorld Step 2 for both shelves and step. I had a supplemental Step up to step 2 that sort of helped. For questions, if there weren’t many in uworld, I used pre-test.

That just means that you'll have "has made an incredible amount of progress in this clerkship" on your evals. Always a plus! It's how you finish.

Ooh, one moment? That's tough. The moment that sticks out the most to me right now is watching the July 4th fireworks in my hometown with my granddaddy from his ICU room window. I don't know that it defines my year though.

Whatever, it’s my post. Here’s my top 5, in no particular order:

HIV 

Endocrine emergencies like myxedema coma, thyroid storm, or Addisonian crisis. 

Acute on chronic liver disease

Pregnancy (ooh, betcha didn’t see that one coming)

Basically I picked the top 4 because they have such interesting physical exam findings, co-morbidities, and clinical presentations. They always pose a bit of a mystery. Clearly I like diseases that have multi-organ system involvement. I like a challenge ;).
