Though pachycephalosaurs are probably my favorite dinosaurs, I’ve drawn oviraptorosaurs a lot too. Top piece is Caenagnathasia, 3rd and 5th pieces are Anzu, and the last is Gigantoraptor. I drew the Gigantoraptor in my senior year of high school with no references, so I’m sure parts of it are off, but I still like it.
Apatoraptor was the only new addition to the feather stampede this year. But Psittacosaurus also got its colors!

Ningyuansaurus was another small basal oviraptoran, from the Aptian age of the Early Cretaceous, about 124.6 million years ago. It was found in the Yixian Formation of Jianchang, Liaoning, China. It might be the basalmost oviraptorosaur known, based on its long skull and greater number of teeth than later forms. It had closely packed together teeth without serrations and fairly large eyes. It had short arms and long legs and a very long tail and known feather impressions. It may have eaten seeds.
