it’s nimrak again, during the five hour fight that was our last session lol
You know what I love about this city? Very little it actually kinda sucks. There are about four people here worth knowing.
However!
This temple of Kjaelen’s is quite nice- sturdy, stone, almost fortified. If I was going to pick anywhere to make a stand, it would probably be here. And it’s quite lucky, too, because that’s exactly what we’re gonna have to do.
Oh we've made such a mess here. Barg is a very forthright man, which is great and all, but that fact definitely contributed to this current mess, wherein Barg is now bleeding out by the back door and I am six seconds away from tackling the guy with the magic fingers here off the wall, which is definitely a great plan and won't end badly for me.
So yeah. This is fun.
Don’t get me wrong, this is definitely the right thing to be doing- and waking That Asshole up at midnight to come deal with us is a perk all on its own- and there are definitely worse ways this could have gone, but I’m not sure trying to take a half dozen of these guys on my own is the best way it could go. Those priests better get back here soon, or we’re going to have a very large problem on our hands. Kjaelen won’t be able to burn her way out of this one, either.

a dagger that could belong to any number of dnd characters (bc have you really played dnd until you've killed and. probably thoroughly defiled the corpse of at least one dragon?). tygré is the most likely to take a dragon tooth and tie it to a piece of broken wood for a dagger, excepting maybe nimrak, who is level three and has not yet fought a dragon

He is alone in the swamp for years. It’s not that bad, really. There’s more than enough noise that the silence isn’t oppressive and no one would ever call the place boring. There are others around, but groups of more than three or four inevitably draw the wrong kind of attention and then, well… no more group. But hey! That means he’s the only one around to critique his cooking or his carving technique. There’s all the other stuff too, of course, but he hasn’t lasted this long by dwelling on the bad. Birdsong is still pretty and the darkroots still taste like home and he is still there. It’s fine, really.
