When I first visited the Twice Stabbed Army I was surprised to see a Coleoptera there that didn't have the twice stabbed classic spots on there elytra. Upon talking to one, I learned that indeed they are still part of the twice stabbed group, but have wandered away from combat and instead focus on tool building. The Nigrita showed me the weapons he had made and there quality was astounding, truly the work of someone who has spent there life honing there art.
I thought about asking them if they had ever wanted to be a fighter rather than a blacksmith like there ancestors were but thought better of it. Who am I to ask another subspecies about breaking from a tradition they have spent their life following.
More information about this subspecies can be found in the Animalia Almanac

One, Two, Three, Four and more Twice Stabbed
Not too long ago I thought that the Twice Stabbed Lady Beetle was a single Coleoptera subspecies. However, doing some deeper research I found there are over 20 different Coleoptera who share the title of ‘Twice Stabbed Lady Beetle’! There is one that has it as its official ‘common’ name, that being the Stigma, but the Nigrium, Nigrita, Cacti and plenty more also consider themselves to be connected to the Twice Stabbed legend. I do not know if I'll have time to get to all the Coleoptera subspecies that have that title, but I’ll do my best with the time I have around their home of Guilerme! More information can be found in the Animalia Almanac.
