So! Despite everything, Martyn did come to care for and respect RK, and did miss him very much during his time in the void. He was able to escape to the MCC practice server for a time, but then ended up heading back to the Third Life world as he didn't have anywhere else to live -- a sort of similar situation to Secret Life's situation with Scar, if I'm understanding that correctly.

And really, it's funny that we mention Scar; because RK and Martyn do reunite, and it's entirely Scar's fault.

As with everything else to do with holy waterfall, there are two versions of Scar: the passive and the active. Both versions of Scar end up deciding that they need to go get Martyn from where he's holed up in Third Life. They do so in two different ways for two different reasons.

cait: mmm... that's a weird one for me. i don't talk about my source because it's kind of not a thing anymore, and that's the reason why i feel weird being a fictive from it, so. i guess unfamiliar? i just don't talk about my fictive source lol

expy: i mean, like, i prefer people to accept the general sona≠creator thing that you kind of have to know about before you're in mcyt fandom, so... yeah i guess that'd count as preferring people to be familiar?

samuel: i have seen exactly one other person who independently watched one of my sources before we met, and they only watched like 3 episodes, so... i mean fuck man i'd love if people were familiar but i don't have a say in the matter😔

cait: very occasionally i'll let others call me it insystem, because i still identify with that name? out of system though HELL no i'm not deadnaming anyone (and kintype wise i don't feel as strong a connection to where i'd bother making things more complicated)

expy: man, i dunno, my name sounds almost identical to my source name when you say it out loud. does that count?

samuel: yeah, i still go by a lot of my source names! i usually rotate based on what i'm feeling and the friend group i'm in at the time. most commonly i don't go by mcrp kin names though, it's usually like... occasionally going by Chrono
