I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?

i love angst i love angst i love angst i love angst i love angst i love angst i love angst i love angst HAHAHAH to read mostly!

and tbh ahhh i do sometimes actually read member x member fics, not in a i actually ship them type of way but idk some of the best stories ive read are in that narrative. i think its hard for me sometimes to fully follow in a second person perspective (x reader)?

K: What's the angstiest idea you've ever come up with?

mann... im not too experienced in writing angst, so im currently attempting a story right now.. ahh i don't really think i have had SUPER angsty ideas yet. i think my style of writing is more akin to hurt-comfort, rather than pure angst...

BUT an idea i had and started writing for was: y/n attends a spy academy where in your last year, you must pair up with another student for final training. this partner is their go-to, training 24/7 together. but the final project in order to graduate.... is to successfully kill your partner.

I started writing it at a time where I was rly busy, so i ended up giving up, and then passing the prompt along to a fic fest prompt archive, so i let someone else write the story lol (kinda wishing i kept it lol)

BUT (again) i've read a lot of the sick-lit genre so i was anticipating trying to write one myself, but that's a delicate genre and i'm not too keen that i know how to approach it LOL

Ternyata untuk menulis setiap hari butuh usaha yang cukup keras. hahaha

Kemarin malam aku ikut doa bersama mingguan di gereja (setelah sekian bulan, mungkin tahun, ga pernah ikutan)

dan WOW! Felt so blessed last night. the time we worship God together was the best time for these couple month. so much in love with His presence.

i felt like i was falling in love again with God and so happy to have time like last night.

keep in love with God, guys. because He loves us bigger than what we could imagine.

So today i got to go to IFGF Surabaya Church

This month theme's ELEVATE and today Pastor Boby was preaching about being EXCELLENT

it was a usual topic that we have to do our best in everything. but i dont know why i got to think a lot about this 'excellent' word today.

few hours of thinking, i decided to write down my thoughts every night here (i hope i could keep writing, since i usually can't do something consistently. here we go...)

Psalm 8:2 says "Oh Lord, how excellent You are..."

We, as His creation equals to Him, so when God is excellent, we should be and we could be excellent too.

There were 5 points that Ps. Bob told:

- Excellent is a commitment, Quality never happens by chance, it is always by high intention

It's not that we only getting interested to be excellent, but take the commitment to always do everything excellently, like we do it to God.

- Excellent is attention to detail

- Excellence is not perfection, but over expectation

because perfection is only when we enter the heaven, so what we could do is taking extra miles. there's no traffic in extra miles.

- Excellence doesn't wait until the surroundings change, but it changes the surroundings by being excellent

excellence can't be taught, it is caught

- Today's excellence may be tomorrow's mediocre

What makes a comfort zone dangerous is because it's not danger. That's why people have to keep moving on.

i kept thinking, "have i been excellent in my work?"

i answered it by myself : "No, i haven't do my best, but i want to excel my work"
