Transformers Trainbots AU Part 3: Getusei
The oldest junior member of the Trainbots unit. He is chill, friendly, charming, suave, romantic, smooth-talker, but also deathly informant, hacker and spy that Trainbots really rely on him when it comes to night activity and secret information about the enemy (usually decepticons). Night is not just dark, but also really vurnerable with many types of crimes due to it is kinda hard to see on night and many people are sleep on that time. That is where the night owl Getsuei do the night patrol with his unstoppable spirit of seeking action and fun thanks to his stealth skills. He often seen on nightclub, concert or just stargazing when he found the patrol had less tense, but he still keep a sharp eyes if something is not okay.
He is created from the colony planet, Velocitron, the planet of speed, but also planet of entertainment. Every types of entertainment is available and maybe even more exciting than cybertron, and one of those enjoyer is the normal bot who will be Getsuei in a future.
Created and adopted by mentors who is high class velocitronian, he was lived with being spoiled and get many gift from his mentor. But at the same time he felt that he never get much attention and care from them when he grow up and able to critical thinking. Thank to his mentor's wealth, he can go to prestigious velocitronian school freely without have to list his scholarship. However he is barely on school and often outside the class or school just to have fun with thoose rebellious kids because he found the school activity boring. But he is also not going to his mentor's house because he felt everything is empty and shallow there. Dispite he was graduated on the graduation day without problem thanks to he get high score on school and subject without even hardworking thanks to his good memory or by cheating with the help of his "friends".
His relationships with his mentors became more distant and tense, he later got out from them and became a loner by living on the apartement. He thought he will be free without the authorities, but he then of the sudden he felt his life became more depressing. He had many way to cope with his problematic and depressing life with consuming holo-drama and novel datapad. He is also a smoker and drink high grade energon.
He never go out on day due to he wasted it on recharging and consuming entertainment a lot. If he go out on day, it is usually bare time but mainly because he had business to do or had a date promise by his fling he met on the nightclub. He never had a stable relationships and many girls he date break up with him. Usually it is his fault (being womanizer, his flaws or by accident) or their fault (maybe that girl is a bad person, some misunderstanding, unrecruited, or had an unresolved emotional problem) or by third party (maybe death, maybe disaster, maybe some boyfriend who is far more charming and handsome than him, or many more).
When it comes to a job, he often said on public he is an energon courier, but it was a lie. His real job is a spy. He works for Velocitronian (on certain city on that planet) government to dealing many syndicates who runs on many part of the cities entertainment industry on the underground. With his streetwise knowledge and charm of an anime husbando, he can get away from the syndicate and successfully do his job. Altough his social skills is natural from his experience of life, he also got thought physically and advanced his knowledge of gadgets, weapons and self defense skills from the government. His fascination with fire weapon and espionage tools came from this Origins. His codename is "Night Dance" or just Agent Night.
Dispite his awsomeness, there is many flaws and even one biggest flaw just like every sentient beings do have. Agent Night is hedonist, womanizer, easily distracted on his daydream, reckless (the last one is usual normal flaws tho), and lastly more vurnerable side he has, an escapsit.
There was one time his life ruined by everything he loves and with his flaws. He met and dating with this one underground celebrity from the underground entertainment industry. She is beautiful, charming, suave, but also treat him with kindness. He was fall in love with her, going party, play many games on arcade together. He internally want to be as kind and good as her. Later when he try to peeping the information from the mafia boss on the train, he was busted by the group of mafias goons. And it was revealed that the nice celebrity singer he dare with is actually the right hand man of the mafia. He was being fooled all along and he failed his mission, but he cannot go back to the government anymore because he failed his mission. If he was on the government, he will became an outcast, or a loser. He was now leaving Velocitron by himself while covering his identity and get the new identity under new designation: Moonlight.
He moved to Cybertron. Realized later there the planet was on the war, he try to escape by was kidnapped by Decepticons. But he was freed by the autobtos. As a form of thanks (and for identity safety), he join the autobtos and later he teamed up with Machliner dispite their opposite personalities. Moonlight never said about his life and backstory. He always distance himself from that conversation, and even to the point he will lie about his life story.
After they were crashed out and cold constructed and got renamed, the scientist named him Getsuei. Due to coincidence and nostalgia, he accepted his new name and became night specialist who patrolling on night. He usually distance from his team and hide on his own office, not just because they are annoy his sleep, but also he finds his "Waifu" (bunch of objects and weapons on his room) are more enjoyable partners to hang out with and also he is into anime, manga, games and many types of entertainment medias to cope with and also having a Waifu (fictionnwise and object wise) that he really dreamed and compassionate about. But after he was forced to get open up by thoose hardheaded unit of Trainbots, he became not just a lackeys and more open with them as in terms of "family". He became less depressing and more gratidite of what he had now.... And also had to dealing the annoyance During the day.
He is basically "anti-shouki" from personality and story wise.
Getsuei is what happens when you make Air Raid and Fireflight fusing into one individual bots when it comes to perosnality wise. Action and danger lover, but also often get out from his team because being distracted by something pretty or intresting or just he is daydreaming.
Altough Trainbots had a healthy relationships with each other dispite the flaws, there will always be a "blacksheep" even in healthy relationships (not in a toxic way). In Trainbots case, it is Getusei the closest thing they have. Not because he is evil, but he is unruly and lazy.
He is more open to mostly Shouki, Yukikaze and Suiken. With Shouki, it is more like "enemies to friends" dynamics where Shouki overwhelmed by Getsuei's laziness, but Getusei often the one that give critiques and complain how bad his leader's leaderships method and decision making wise, but he join his leader because Getusei is basically a lackeys. But after he became open up as friends, Shouki often go to Getsuei's office just to watch movies or shows to relief. Getsuei still the cynical guy, but he never said that with intention of harm and he is actually likes to having company dispite two of them dosen't admit they are good friends.
Yukikaze is second what Getusei open up to thanks to former's kindness and being the ground to reality for others including the spy imself. Yukikaze often playing games and ask about entertainment related to boss his social media with Getsuei's knowledge of entertainment.
He and Suiken are really close into terms of family-like boding because Suiken is such a good father figure where Getsuei can open up to talk about his problem and Vent. Suiken is a good listener. Unlike other unit who force him, Suiken is more lean to comvinve him tonget out from his confort zone. Both are also into questionable things and often reccomending (usually by Getsuei) Those "garbage stash" without no one notices (often succeed, often fail).
He loves his "waifus", but his most favorite one is his Night Laser where he calling "her" as "Night-chan" or "Night Laser-chan".
Dispite being compotent fighter and good social skills, Getusei is a manfailure/boyfailure in some aspect. (No thought outside i just thinking it is fun addition).
He does have written many books (usually doujin) under the pen-name "Tsukiyo" and being anonymous identity because he is robots in disguise (duh!?). Most of his books are mainly about romance and fantasy related, but still you have to be careful because some of his books contains.... Something....
He dosen't even care which constructicons he hated the most and he actually either being "neutral" or just don't want to hang up with them, but he really see Scrapper as his "rival" dispite he see the leader of the Constructicons as his "best friend candidate" if Scrapper isn't fully a bad person, which is impossible because Scrapper is one of the list of group or individual he must stay away from or he Will grusomely died (one of his lists count above Scrapper is one of the syndicate from velocitrons and velocitornian government) because he dosen't want to dealing Scrapper's fantasy of his "art". He also didn't like Hook, but mainly because he find Hook is so much in common with him and wondering if Hook is representation or "alternate timeline of himself" if he was accepting his fancy life of his former mentor's lifestyle and being snobbish instead of who he is right now.
He isn't a ninja, but it seems Velocitorn government give him a skills that is really lean to what cyber-ninja skills and cyber-jutsu thing in general. But Getsuei often using anime fight scene reference to make it more fun for him.
He has many inspiration. Personality wise, he reminded me of James Bond, but for the name meaning sake and from TF Wiki puns, i based him from the novel "night of the galactic road".
His mouth is based from the shape of cresent moon, but i had a thought he would have a that "Nobita face" when he is just being "comedic relief" or just being chill out in general. Maybe is should fusing it....
His hat is based on train conductor's hat but the one that is more into cylinder over the cylinder and flat one like my design of Shouki.
Characters inspiration is:
Toko Fukawa from Danganronpa and Asa Mitaka from Chainsaw Man (for the manfail/girlfail thing, but he is far more chill out and somehwat open to conversation than toko and Asa)
Konata Izumi from Lucky Star (for his laziness but mastering entertainment related, considering Konata is a "girlboss" in otaku world.)

Midnight Express from Transformers Robots in Disguise (for his fussy and flustered personality. I was wondering. Hey? Isn't that basically what Yukikaze do!? Why you give Midnight Express personality to Getusei? Because 1. His name is "Midnight Express"! 2. I see Yukikaze is more grounded to reality and less into daydreaming tendency. 3. I find Getusei's "somehwat and kinda boring" so i give him "depth" because this is my fan-continuity! So be it!).
