Attrition is god-tier but man I am surprised that at least so far, it's the only fic I've seen that makes use of the fact that if she was hanging out with Crope, Glinda easily could have known where Elphaba'd gotten off to after the third timeskip, especially given that it's outright said that he's where Nanny got that information. And sure, I wouldn't be surprised if the in-universe explanation for her not seeking Elphaba out herself in-text was something like "yes, she said she missed her and wanted to see her again and said that outright when Fiyero ran back into her and Crope... but in the seven years since that, her thoughts around feeling abandoned by her got extra-complicated to the point where she thought maybe she'd Not go actively trying to see her again right away out of spite" or the like, but still.

My literal biggest gaming-related pet peeve is people degendering Mettaton because he's Pink and Fabulous and otherwise gender-nonconforming. In a game clearly perfectly comfortable with using gender-neutral language for characters, if Mettaton was not meant to be a man, he would not be actively referred to as a man or with he/him pronouns in text.
