I did these doodles wile trying to figure out my ideas for the designs/dynamics between the kiddads! I wanted to have everyone in the driver’s seat, passenger’s seat, and back of the odyssey all at least once and use this to both explore their dynamic and also how i thought they’d wind up.
I did end up defining some parts of their designs, like I started giving Grant curlier hair and glasses as I went on, but this was mostly a personality thing and I’m still trying to decide if I want to flesh these out more <3 I’m still very new to the fandom, so LMK if you think my interpretations fit the characters or vice-versa!
Tällä hetkellä lukemassa — A. M. Burrage: The Little Blue Flames and Other Uncanny Tales by A. M. Burrage. Nick Freeman (toim.). British Library Publishing, 2022.
This title presents 13 mini masterpieces from one of the most undeservedly neglected authors of twentieth century strange fiction. Nick Freeman, specialist in Gothic literature at Loughborough University, has selected the contents based on the author’s best work. [...] Presenting 13 of the author’s best tales from the 1920s and 30s – including accounts of uncanny living wax figures, unsettling timeslips into troubled pasts and Burrage’s horror masterpiece ‘One Who Saw’ – this collection is another step towards restoring A. M. Burrage’s name to the heights of the best writers of supernatural fiction.
Just imagining Sparrow looking at Nick when they're suggesting doing Code Purple again and saying, "If I can make peace with my father never forgiving me, I think I can handle if you don't."
