My premades neighborhood(s) is up and running as it is priority to finish S2BO. I'm going to make custom maps for AU, Lushland, and Arda, the medieval hood. So I'll have to install Sims4City for that.

I do wish I had better internet to just package up all the CC I had collected over the years and just move them to the new PC. It'd be a lot easier.

The Company looks at the end result. An assistant, someone expendable, was killed versus the head of a business. They don't find this equal. Corey had Cason murdered, not killed him in self-defense. Cason could have served as the Company's kingpin in prison. Now that opportunity has been lost. They frown upon avenues lost because of personal issues. Assets versus lives, they'll take assets every day.

My queen (queen of hearts, queen of his heart) for more serious, little girl (little red riding hood, he's older) for playful (she rolls her eyes when he says it and sometimes gets impatient)

These are all cute! :D In my own head anyway, I don’t think Mortimer would ever speak to Bella like she was a little girl, or play up their age difference. It’s something that they’ve worked to overcome, and as his impending mortality creeps in, something that weighs on his mind. I imagine he has one nickname for her, used in private, that is tender and intimate. He would never call her it in front of anyone. I just have to work out what it might be!

All three of the Patel kids got Ana’s lovely eye-shape. Indira is the only one with any of Ramir’s features - his nose.

I was getting into my game nicely earlier when I started getting the pink flashing of doom. :/ which always requires a restart. Not convenient with a half hour loading time!

Just out of curiousity, but is there a reason you aren't just friendzoning the older generation and letting ACR do it's thing?

Well, for one thing, ACR v.1 doesn’t have the friendzone feature. :) You can’t use V.2 in Castaway because it requires AL/M&G. But really, the issue is that, now that I’m moving Sims onto lots where all related Sims live together, communally, ACR isn’t really applicable or helpful anymore, especially because ACR v.1 doesn’t have booty calls. (Which wouldn’t work anyway because no one has a phone yet. :) ) Plus, ACR is kind of glitchy in Castaway. It works, but sometimes it randomly stops working and causes jump bugs, so you have to uninstall it from the neighborhood, delete it from Downloads, redownload it, and then reinstall it and re-set-up the neighborhood and...Well, it’s kind of a pain in the butt. :) So, I wanted to get rid of it, anyway.

I still wanted random, non-monogamous breeding, though, so, to replace ACR, I came up with a system that uses die rolls to determine whether or not each of the female Sims will attempt a try for baby and with whom. Unfortunately, since I’m now ACR-less, the “with whom” is limited to partners that the Sim in question has a love relationship with. I’ve been looking for something that would overcome that, but so far all I’ve come up with is various “adult” objects, and that’s not really what I want. What I really want is a global no-love-needed-for-woohoo mod. I’m sure such a thing must exist somewhere, but I haven’t found it yet, outside of ACR.

I was refering to the lagging that plagues Isla Paradiso.. aftee some time played there it lags like crazy because of stuck Sims, at least it does for me^^ That's why I downloaded another island world and pretend Isla paradiso does not exist

They are so precious!

I mean I can use TS3 with TS4 meshes, but the textures are so different and I really don’t like to remap.

Hopefully I can get the SSD to work. I’ve never connected one before, but I’ve found some really helpful tutorials on Youtube and I feel confident I can do it.

Why would we do that? Hot Mess needs more chaos I say.

True story. TS4 simblrs come and go like pop-up restaurants in LA.

So far.

Yeah I don’t get the 2048x4096 textures. TS4 already had extended textures. It’s not like it makes a difference besides making giant file sizes.

A secret between us, the voting on the polls did change things.  Originally Cason was supposed to kill Lola and Gwen kill him while Corey walks in (triggering him on what he did to his parents), but the voting kept Lola alive. So instead Cason got arrested and all that jazz. It ended up as the better path honestly.

Gwen and Nik (aside Corey and Cindy’s trauma) have alike traumas, but I think for Nik, he was able to process because of the space and support Gwen and Dev gave him over the months they were on the run.  The date with Julian didn’t go well and brought those things back up for him because Julian was aggressive about getting him into bed and it scared him.  Of course Dev made things better in his Mama Hen kind of way.

Gwen had three years of Cason before Dev helped her escape. I think for her sometimes the trauma--I don’t want to use the word worse because one trauma isn’t worse than someone else’s--was amplified because she found a safe, happy place with her boys (and Mims). She felt good about herself and was seeing a future and then it was all stripped away from her and she was dragged back to Cason where the trauma continued.

I could go on, but maybe that should be something of a future post or discussion.  But thank you!
