It's late; late enough that Delilah is asleep. And being twenty one years old, Delilah doesn't do early bed times. Sable tried to sleep too, but it's just not coming to her tonight. She's anxious about the uptick in nighttime violence that's begun; it's been making her bite her nails, which is a habit she broke years ago.
In the interests of trying to be productive, she slips from her rooms and towards the meeting room where a lot of council business takes place. Large table, access to hot drinks, but most important to Sable are the tall windows that allow a sprawling view of the city. It's quiet; not silent. Dim; not utterly dark. There are benefits to living in the tallest building in Sol City.
With one hand wrapped around a mug of herbal tea, and a pen in the other, she is noting down thoughts and plans of action, some better than others. Some are just desperate. Lost in her thoughts, she jumps as the door opens; presses a hand against her racing heart as she sees who it is. "Ngelah. I didn't think anyone else would be around."
