🫧 I remember when Paulie was THE one piece supporting character. FUCK everyone talked about him dude. Pinterest is permeated with endless fanart of him to this day. I also think Oda did him justice by making Paulie canonically respected by Water 7 men and women alike, this really sells how he's Galley-La vice president which in this city might just mean vice-frigging-mayor.
I'd kill to see how Yorkie's dynamic with Iceberg has been growing, but the man is out of reach...OH I'll try and see if Water 7 is open for all schools! After all, Water 7nians don't even get assigned one.
I'd watch a spin-off telling Yorkie's adventures in W7 every other day. I feel like if they wanna make some REAL money, they gotta start expanding each country/island's story and characters. I'd watch at least 24 episodes of Water 7 shenanigans with Paulie as the protagonist and Iceberg as the fucking deuteragonist OH MY GOD this idea is so goated.
Then again, I get that whenever I open my mind's eye and look into what's going on at W7 on the way to Yorkie's work. I swear sun, Lulu & Tilestone are massive dorks. Iceberg is a nice person, he lets us perform in front of the shipyard whenever we feel like it basically. He also caught onto us being related to Yorkie somehow. He gives me the creeps sometimes. He's a little too perceptive. We were nervous back then but we never mentioned Paulie before Iceberg did, or did we? ⛲️
