10 year anniversary newt/hermann fanzine! 👨🔬💕👨🔬
HI ALL!! @k-sci-janitor and i have been planning this for a while and we're very excited to post about it at last! we’re co-organizing a little digital newt/hermann fanzine in honor of pacific rim’s tenth anniversary this summer
our theme for the zine is ‘what happened between those scientists in the ten years following the movie?’. (what sort of hijinks did they get up to?? where are they now???) uprising-compliant content is allowed, but we’d love for everyone to get creative with it!

First headcanon? Yesss "If it hadn't been for the Precursors, Newton would have been truly delighted by the embrace Hermann gave him, probably to the point of getting a tattoo about it somewhere on his body." Is my first headcanon Newmann? Absolutely.
I know those who don't speak Spanish won't understand…
I don't know if this counts as a headcanon… Solare of Esperón. this song is so Hermann's after Newt left for those ten years, or simply when they drifted apart. It sounds so Newmann. I wish I knew how to edit so I could make a really long edit of the two of them with this song.
It sounds like them simply because Hermann chose to endanger all of humanity for the slim hope that his Newt was still there, that he would stop Liwen from shooting him, all because of a tiny trace of Newton behind the Precursors.
Solare and Tristella perfectly represent Hermann and Newt before and during Uprising for me…
