“Chanhee!” you squealed, running up and down the living room, Donghyuck in your arms.
Chanhee laughed, taking his shoes off before closing the door, “what’s this?!”
“We were watching superman cartoons on the TV,” you said, out of breath as you placed Donghyuck back on the floor.
Kyuhyuk was stood with his hand on the sofa, steadying his feet, only just learning to walk.
“It was supposed to be calming before bedtime, but as you can see it had the opposite effect.”
Donghyuck began to whine, his hands reaching up for you to lift him again.
“No, baby, it’s so late you should be going to bed!” Chanhee scolded, picking Donghyuck up, “look, Kyuhyuk’s tired.”
You looked to your other son, who seemed space out in looking at the sofa.
Chuckling, you went over and scooped him up, “come on, off to bed then.”
Donghyuck shook his head, “teeth no.”
“It’s okay, Hyuck, you’ve already brushed your teeth, all we need to do is go to bed! I’ll read you a story.”
The four of you climbed the stairs, entering the boys’ bedroom.
Chanhee laid Donghyuck down into his bed, before looking over at you.
“Kyuhyuk-ah,” he grinned, “look, Donghyuck, your brother’s already asleep.”
“He is?!” you cooed, “oh I love it when he falls asleep on me.”
You placed your hand on the back of his head and carefully laid him down in his be before pulling the blanket over him.
“What story do you want, Donghyuck?” you asked.
“Daddy?” Donghyuck asked, grabbing on to Chanhee’s hand.
“You want Daddy to read you a story? But baby, he needs to eat his dinner, he only just came home.”
Chanhee shook his head, “it’s okay! You go and sleep, I’ll put him to sleep.”
You frowned, but Chanhee nodded, “go.”
“Okay,” you smiled, leaning down and pressing a kiss to Donghyuck’s head, “good night baby.”
You left the room and went downstairs, beginning to heat up Chanhee’s food.
“Ya, you!” he exclaimed, arriving at the bottom of the stairs.
You laughed, “I’m sorry! I just wanted to make sure that you eat.”
Chanhee shook his head, “and I want to make sure you sleep. Come on, let’s go I’ll eat on the sofa next to you.”
Smiling, you went into the living room, Chanhee following after you with his food.
Upon sitting down and resting your head on Chanhee’s shoulder, you found yourself drifting off to sleep.
“Mummy! Daddy!” Donghyuck shouted, “Mummy! Daddy!”
“Huh?” you sighed, waking up with a start.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got the baby, you go back to sleep,” Chanhee said, slipping your head off his shoulder and laying you down on the sofa.
“I just want to get into my bed, Chanhee,” you laughed “I’m not protesting you dealing with him.”
“Joke! Go to sleep. I’ll only wake you if he’s really annoying.”
