request. for @heavenfilm who started this all 😞
a/n. inspired on this boylog where chanhee got very drunk and was just so cute :( ofc i had to feed into the delusions.
“You’re so red, baby. How much did you drink?” You met eyes with your fiancé who stood in the doorway, clad in his pyjamas. His face was flushed bright pink and his eyes drooped down, threatening to close at any time. You had heard the drunken chatter of the boys in the kitchen, taking shots of soju and eating shrimp together. Chanhee had gotten the most drunk by far. You could easily tell by his voice leading the conversation, mostly consisting of nonsensical sentences leaving his mouth while Changmin, Eric and Juyeon tried to follow along. He was a handful when drunk.
“Just a tiny bit.” Chanhee giggled, stumbling forward until he reached the bed. He landed messily, his head falling right in your lap. He didn’t bother trying to sit up, deciding that how he landed was entirely on purpose and your lap was far too comfortable to leave in any case.
“Looks like it was a lot more than a tiny bit.” You pointed out.
“Fine. But I’m not drunk!” He insisted, raising his head to meet your eyes as if it would prove his point.
“Sure you’re not.” You teased, brushing some of his black hair to the side, revealing his pink forehead.
“You don’t believe me.” He frowned. He could still read you so easily even when drunk. He wasn’t going to be fooled by you playing along to his declaration.
“You need sleep, Chanhee, love.” You knew he wouldn’t listen to you immediately. But from how inebriated he was, you were sure he was going to crash soon.
Just as expected, he shook his head immediately, “I’m not tired.” You scoffed at his slurred words. He had been doing MV shoots for the last 3 days and was out shopping all day in Jeju. He texted you how exhausted he was hours ago. Anyone would be able to see the blatant lie.
Chanhee really did need sleep, even if he said he didn’t. If he was going to ignore your first suggestion, you would have to switch to other means. Bribery usually worked with him, drunk or sober.
“If I give you a kiss will you go to sleep?” You asked, smiling when his eyebrows furrowed at your question. He lifted his head from your lap, glancing up at you to make sure you were serious about your suggestion before sitting up fully.
“A real kiss? You won’t trick me with just a peck, right?” He pouted, and you laughed. How could he look so cute? Face all flushed, a sulky expression adorning it, and messy hair completing the look.
“I won’t.”
“Promise? Pinky promise?!” He was trying to sound as serious as possible, but given the way his words slurred together, he just sounded like he was running on 1 working brain cell. Which was probably the case.
“Pinky promise.” You held out your pinky to him, letting him link it with his and stamp your thumbs.
“If you break your promise, I’m getting a divorce.” He warned you, “Cheating your husband out of kisses is the worst offence.” He whispered the last part as he neared your lips.
You wanted to remind him that you weren’t actually married yet, and so it was impossible for him to divorce you if you broke the promise, but his lips stopped you from getting any other words out. The taste of soju lingered on his lips, but you were going to keep your word. You let him kiss you as long as he wanted to, soon getting used to the scent and taste of alcohol that was left from his lips. When he finally broke off the kiss, he seemed extremely satisfied that you had kept your promise.
“I knew my wife wouldn’t be cheap. Now we can stay married forever!” He said excitedly. You nodded along to his words with an endeared smile on your face. It warmed your heart to hear him address you as his wife, even if you hadn’t made it official quite yet.
“You’re gonna keep up your end of the deal too, right?” You reminded Chanhee, giggling when his smile slowly turned into a pout again.
“Fine, only because I love you.” He settled down without any further protest, though he did insist that it was his turn to be the little spoon. You expected he would fall asleep quickly, but you underestimated just how quickly. He was out almost as soon as he closed his eyes.
You hugged him tightly and listened to his steady breathing. It relaxed you to a state of drowsiness as well. You were left to think about his drunken words again in your head, butterflies tingling in your stomach when you remembered how the word “wife” sounded from his mouth.

author: this short series came to an end :(( also this fic is lwk for @sanaxo-o coz she is the biggest chanhee enthusiast i know! (woman freaks out when you just mention his name!?!?) this one is short :(((
[22:39]
the apartment was quite, except the faint sound of the heater. you and chanhee were cuddled up in your bed, with a soft blanket covering the both of you.
you both finally got the weekend off after a hectic week. you both wished nothing but to just be with each other. even if it mean rotting in the bed.
you both were quitely staring into nothing, enjoying each other's company in silence. you were silent for almost an hour now. so you thought he might have fell asleep by now. you slowly shifted more into his warmth, which was provided by the arms covering you. you turned to face him to see whether he fell asleep.
"why are you smiling?" you questioned, softly, not wanting to ruin the vibe, when you saw him still awake. "thinking of you" he casually replied.
"thinking of me?" you asked, confused.
"yes. wondering how i got so lucky to have you with me." another soft smile crept his face.
"you are such a loser sometimes" you scoffed, nudging him softly with your leg under the sheets.
"yet you are here with me." chanhee replied placing a kiss on your lips.
you rolled your eyes, not denying him "you make it seem like liking you is easy" your eyes softened and a tiny smile made its way to your lips at his response.
"good. makes it easier for me to keep you and love you."
it was now your turn to slowly lift yourself and place a kiss on chanhee's lips.
"i love you."
"i love you more. i promise." he said closing his eyes and slowly falling asleep.
having a glass of champagne with your boss wasn't on your 2024 bucket list. spending the new year eve with him and your colleagues wasn't either — but since you had nothing else planned... who were you to refuse such a proposal under his fluttering eyes?
working as a stylist in south korea's largest fashion house, under the supervision of the one and only choi chanhee, was a privilege you cherished to the utmost. you had to admit that you'd worked hard all your life to get to this point — between sleepless nights and dinner-free days, you were very happy to have achieved your goal and to be showered with compliments on your fashion sense.
with a pensive look and a nostalgic smile, thinking back on the past that brought you to this point, you watch the stars and the moon decorate the sky on this last cold december night. tomorrow will be the first day of a new year, and you wanted more than anything for it to be as successful as the last. swirling your alcohol in the champagne glass you held between your fingers, you looked away to scan the room around you : many of your colleagues were rambling here and there, laughing and chatting away from the stresses of everyday life, under the purple and blue lights of the penthouse the company had rented for the party.
but despite everything, your eyes fell on a person who had the gift of making your heart both crazy and light at the same time. chanhee stood in one of the corner of the room, a glass of champagne in hand, with the other one tucked neatly into the trouser pocket of the black suit he was wearing this evening, which by the way, fit him like a glove. his ebony hair fell over his forehead, with a few strands cutting off the sight of his eyes at the precise moment he nodded in response to what someone had just said to him — but, in all honesty, nothing could affect the immaculate beauty of his face.
no wonder why everyone looks to him for perfect beauty and fashion sense, chanhee never leaves anything to chance and that makes everyone crazy about him. including you. you knew you wanted choi chanhee in your life in one way or another, the day your teacher gave you a catalog of all his most iconic looks as a gift for your university entrance. you were so impressed by his choice of clothes, colors and assembly, not to mention his flawless skin and incomparable beauty — you had barely begun your fashion design studies when you were already crazy about him. then the years went by, and miraculously, your internship application was accepted by his company. you thought it was a bad joke at first, ready to throw yourself off a building to make 100% sure it was all real, but the phone call from his secretary ji changmin, announcing that you were starting the following monday, brought you back down to earth.
since that day, you've been promised a job as a stylist in the company, and chanhee has kept his word. you have one of the highest positions, and the privilege of working and learning alongside him every day — nothing could have made you happier.
or so you thought.
lost once again in your thoughts, you didn't see the delicate gait of a certain dark-haired boy approaching you. with a smile, chanhee gently clinked his glass against yours, the action drawing your attention, until your eyes finally meet his. “why does a pretty thing like you stay here all alone?” he asked, leaning slightly towards your ear so as not to have to shout too much over the music, allowing time for its fragrance to invade your nostrils, “are you bored?”
shaking your head negatively as you met his soft gaze once more, you couldn't help feeling a certain shyness come over you. “no, not at all. i just wanted to get some fresh air and look at the stars.” you explained, pointing a finger at the sky and pivoting so as to position your forearms against the barrier previously behind you. chanhee imitated your movements, placing himself next to you, close, with his gaze fixed on the sky and the softness of the fabric of his black suit brushing against your skin. trying to ignore the happy mess in your stomach and the all-too-fast beating of your heart, you concentrated on the beauty of the starry sky and the bright glow of the full moon on a winter's night. “it's pretty, isn't it?” you whispered, breathlessly, without noticing chanhee's gaze resting on the beauty of your face drowned in the moonlight.
let's face it, chanhee has always had a soft spot for you. from the day his eyes landed on you, he knew you had some impact on his life. he can't tell if it's seeing you running around trying to make it in life, with that determined look on your face, or the way your eyes light up when you compose outfits and the smile that paints your lips when you're satisfied with your work, but something about the way you exist made his heart skip a beat. it would be an exaggeration to say that he saw you grow up — but he's been there for you every step of the way as a stylist, and he's very proud of how far you've come. you're his little trophy, and he's more than honored to have you by his side. for nothing in the world would he replace you.
“yea. really pretty..” he whispered, his eyes focused on everything (you) but the sky and his chin caught in the palm of his hand. you showed nothing, but you could feel his gaze focused on you, the action turning your cheekbones red with shyness. you opened your mouth to speak again, but just as a few words were about to leave your lips, your colleagues and other affiliations began to shout out the countdown to the last seconds of the year.
pivoting on yourself to join the others and celebrate the new year with them, a delicate grip slipped around your wrist — warm, long fingers blending perfectly into your skin. your eyes finally met your boss's gaze, the dark color of his pupils piercing yours, and suddenly, time froze, your breathing stopped, the world fell silent. your body was caught between the balcony rail and his body, the expensive material of his suit brushing against your skin like a summer breeze, sending a shiver down your bare spine.
and without a second to spare, when the counter reached zero and displayed the beginning of the new year, when all the glasses clinked and the good years were shouted, a pair of perfectly shaped lips placed the most festive of kisses on yours. your heart was probably beating too fast in your chest, defying the speed of sound — it was painful, but a good kind of pain, a pleasant and agreeable pain.
your brain stopped working, and you simply decided to blame your next actions on the alcohol coursing through your veins. your free hand, the one not holding your crystal glass, slipped onto chanhee's shoulder, seeking a minimum of stability given the trembling of your legs. his hand slipped around your hip, still respectfully — but you could feel that he was holding back from pulling you further into his arms. chanhee tasted like champagne — well, it was more his lips, which matched his chic personality, expensive aura and immaculate style. it made him even more desirable, and you even more addicted.
but as you wanted more, chasing his lips when he broke the heated kiss you both shared, a smirk appeared on his lips. “happy new year, miss y/l/n.” he muttered, his warm, alcoholic breath deliciously caressing your lipstick-free mouth, “i'm looking forward to this new year with you.”

Genre: fluff and very cute lmao, couple things…, Chanhee calls the reader angel once ig
Sana: so I wrote this in an hour (if you remove the time I kept on talking with Ves lmao) and honestly I had this in my drafts for over a month and @hursheys helped me incorporate it and didn’t let me give up on it yesterday when I was dying to do that lmao. Also thank you to vesper for beta reading this short thing of mine lolol. Hope I see some interactions when I get back 🙏.
I let out a whine as Chanhee drags me from one shop to another. As much as I love him and his endless passion for shopping, sometimes I just wanna let him do the shopping part as I sit somewhere quiet and eat food.
I enter another vintage shop he found as he goes in the shop with his fingers intertwined with mine.
I couldn’t help but slightly blush at that unintentional tight grip he had on my hand as he didn’t let go of me the whole time.
I let him wander around the shop for a bit as I looked at the various collections of hats they had on display. I couldn’t help but take a liking towards the hello kitty hat which was displayed. Picking it up, I examined it thoroughly as I felt a smile creeping up my face when I remembered Chanhee’s crazy obsession with hello kitty.
“Angel, could you come here for a moment?” I placed the hat back down as I walked deeper into the store to find where Chanhee was.
I saw him holding a matching pair of sweaters. It was a turtleneck sweater and a few ropes were attached to it. One had black and blue while the other had pink and blue.
“Why are you holding two sweaters?” I asked while grabbing the pink and blue sweater and examined it.
“Matching clothes, go and get changed.” He said with a slight roll of his eyes as he ushered me in the changing room while he went to wear his own outfit.
After a while I come out of the room and show the outfit to Chanhee. He immediately told me to pose by the window as he took out his camera and took a few pictures.
I saw him look around the store and immediately grabbed the white bow clip and styled my hair with it.
Grabbing my arm he walked around the store with me as he immediately halted when he saw a white tote bag with a few designs on it.
Handing it to me, he looked around the store to look for a few more accessories which would go with my outfit.
“Chanhee..I think we bought enough items.” I assured him as I stopped him from looking for anything else.
“But I wanna dress you up and style you.” He mumbled quietly and looked around the store again.
“How about you go wait outside while I pay for our clothes? We can go to another vintage shop if you’re that desperate to dress me up.” I joked with a small laugh as I gave a small peck on his cheeks.
Chanhee just gave a small nod and walked out of the door. I took this as a chance and grabbed the hello kitty hat I had seen and immediately paid for it with the other things.
Exiting the shop I saw Chanhee taking a few pictures of himself. I take out the hello kitty hat and gently place it on his head.
“Hmm?” Chanhee hums in confusion as he looks up at me and then grabs the hat I had placed on his head.
I saw an instant smile taking a place on his features as he looked up at me with a huge smile on his face, “Where did you get it?” He asked happily as he told me to take a few pictures of him.
I heave out a deep sigh jokingly but take a few pictures either way. “Well I knew you have a crazy obsession with hello kitty so when I saw that hat on the display I had to buy it as a surprise for you, you know?” I answer as I click a few pictures of him.
“Why do you know me so well?” He says with a laugh as I make sure to take pictures of him at that moment. “Even I have something for you.” He says as he takes out a small locket from his pocket.
I gently grabbed it from his hands and examined it, the vintage design on it made it all the more unique, “We can keep a picture in it. I bought one for myself too. This way we can always be with each other even when we’re not together.” I smile shyly when he says that but feel my heart swell with love when I see the love Chanhee held in his eyes for me.
“Should we go get some printouts of our favourite pictures of each other then?” Hearing my question Chanhee’s eyes immediately sparkle with excitement as he stands up from the bench in excitement.

happy old day @sanaxo-o ! just a little something because i did tell you i was writing for your boy. thank you to @itsbeeble for some speedy proofreading too 🥰
Well, this has been an interesting summer break.
First, your friends have decided to book a surprise getaway. They say it’s for you who have been working hard on your priorities, but they just can’t admit that they wanted a reason to reward themselves too; you hope someday they will be able to reward themselves without guilt because they’ve worked hard too. You decided to spare the recurring lecture for later.
Because right now, you’re in a billiard competition.
Don’t ask how you got here. Your friends wanted to play on the resort’s beach, but you weren’t feeling like soaking yourself in salt water and washing the sand off your body after. Whilst your friends splashed water at each other, you took better cover from the sun in the nearby bar. Sitting in the chair yourself didn’t seem very vacation-like, but the fruit drink in your hand is as refreshing as the summer wind; so is the blonde man playing billiard right now taking your attention.
“I missed because of you, Ji Changmin! Be quiet for a second!” Seeing his cheeks flare red at whatever the boy beside him decided to whisper to him. True to his words, the white ball didn’t travel far due to his missed aim, which his friend celebrated.
You’re amused by the shine of his blonde hair from the overhead light. His side profile is beautiful, and you find the scowl on his face to be adorable. The way his jaw fell at his friend clearing and winning the game is priceless, and the loser slaps a couple of dollar notes into the winner’s hand. You are about to tear your eyes away when you realise you’ve been staring for too long when the blonde’s eyes meet yours unexpectedly. Your eyes widen in surprise, head ducking down and finger playing with your straw as if nothing happened.
If you could become invisible right now, you would. The heat spreads throughout your cheeks, and despite the fan cooling the room, sweat accumulates around your forehead. You’re certain that the tapping growing louder by each second isn’t because of your feet nervously tapping the floor after being caught.
Just as you expected, it wasn’t.
“Hi?”
“I’m sorry-” But when you raised your head, it wasn’t the blonde-haired boy that you were expecting. “I’m Changmin, and that’s my friend Chanhee,” pointing at the sulking boy trying to practice by himself. “I saw that you were looking over at him. Are you interested in him?”
“What?” Bewildered at the straightforward question. “Why does it matter to you?”
“Oh, nothing,” Changmin shrugs with a smirk on his face. “Don’t take this the wrong way but we have actually bumped into each other a few times. Well, without the bumping part. Mind if I take a seat as I explain?”
Intrigued, you welcome the seat next to you. “Well, we checked in on the same day yesterday, and Chanhee was just looking at you.”
“Your room number is circled over here, and you’re on the third floor. Enjoy your stay!” Changmin extends his regards to the worker before turning over to Chanhee next to him. “Let’s go.”
But Chanhee is in another headspace, looking over to a distance, or rather to a girl laughing with the rest of her friends. Changmin takes Chanhee’s dazed state to his advantage, leaning over to snicker at the little smile he’s putting on because you lost rock, paper, scissors and had to pay for the taxi drive to the hotel.
“Pretty girl, isn’t she?” Changmin breaks Chanhee’s bubble, and the latter is flustered. “Let’s say hi-”
“No! We’re not doing any of that!”
You laugh at that, remembering losing your bet as the rest made fun of you for it. “It was an unexpected loss on this trip’s budget for sure.”
“Well, maybe not so because you got Mr Choi Chanhee over there to notice you.” You didn’t know how to answer the smiley boy, only chuckling in response as your eyes fell on the boy playing by himself. “Do you play?”
“Kind of,” you shrug. “I’ve played before, but I’m not a pro or anything like that.”
That answer seems to be good enough for Changmin as he hollers to Chanhee from his seat, “Dude! You got a new competitor that wants to play with you! She said she wants to bet on something!”
“Wha-Hey!” Changmin didn’t spare you a single moment in the say, ushering you along to the pool table with your drink in his hand. “Come on!” You swore that you only followed him to get your drink back. It was just that. You swear it’s just that. It’s just for your drink- “I wanted to know her name but she wouldn’t tell me, but then she said that if you beat her, she’ll tell me!”
“What-”
Chanhee’s eyes widened at the sight of the girl that he’d been entranced with since yesterday. Looking at you closer, with better light, he takes in every detail of your face. Your eyes that he got lost in, your nose guiding his attention down to your lips. He gulps at you being within his reach, and he gulps, clenching the pool cue close to his chest.
“I’m sorry for my friend. Please just ignore him-”
You notice Changmin stepping behind the apologising boy, waving his hand around to ignore what his friend is saying and encouraging you to play along with him. This is absolutely crazy, and Changmin is absolutely living for the moment. Seeing you all frozen in front of Chanhee’s words, Changmin decides to get his final words by clamping his hand to his friend’s mouth.
“Oh, just play with her, will you?!”
Seeing the two being rowdy is the remedy for you. This is what the trip is about after all: to relax and have fun. Plus, it’s not a bad idea to play along since you don’t see how this will hurt anyone, and if Changmin is being honest with his cute little story about Chanhee, then you don’t mind showing him that you’re interested too. You walk over to pick up a spare cue stick, leaving the two boys behind for a while to argue behind you.
“You’re crazy!” Chanhee whispers while head-locking Changmin.
“Oh, just shut up and have fun! I know you think she’s pretty!”
“Of course, she’s pretty! She’s gorgeous-”
“So play with her and bet something else if you win!”
“Like what? A date? This isn’t a movie!”
“Anything can be a movie if you want it to be.” Changmin seems proud of the slightly confusing line, but it doesn’t faze his best friend anymore after all these years. “Besides, if you win, you at least get her name.”
“And if I lose?”
“Then maybe she’ll ask you on a date,” the boy shrugs with an innocent look in his eyes. “Just play!”
Chanhee is pushed away, his hands grabbing on the pool table to steady himself. He let out a sigh of relief at the potential accident and was about to turn to shout at the chuckling boy until you called out.
“Um,” you call out softly. “Should we play?”
Chanhee looks over to the table, seeing all the balls already in the triangle starting shape in the game. You extend your hand as a gesture of welcoming him to take the first move, but to your surprise, the boy doesn’t. Instead, he adjusts his stick on the floor, looking over at you intently with a soft smile.
“So, I guess I’m playing for your name. What are you playing for?”
True. Usually in a competition, a reward for winning would motivate you. You hum in contemplation, “Well, I already know your name, so I guess not for the same thing. But maybe, if you’re free tomorrow, we could explore around together?”
Chanhee had to fight the way the corner of his lips was rising at that. “Looks like either way, I win.”
“What was that?”
“Nothing,” he shakes his head. “But wouldn’t it be weird if you win and then I don’t get to know your name?”
“Well, maybe you should win then.”
Choi Chanhee doesn’t usually like to lose. After all, whenever he loses in something, everyone else rejoices, but maybe this time, losing doesn’t seem like a bad thing after all. Playing to win or playing to lose, he’s already a winner with you being near him right now.

You were calling your friend on the phone in another room. You were so immersed in your conversation, that you didn’t hear his knocking on the door.
He sighed at the lack of response. He wanted to ask you what show you wanted to watch later for your scheduled movie date night. But with no answer, he decided to open the door. But, he froze when he heard his name.
“Isn’t he the cutest? People always say he looks intimidating, but they don’t actually know just how cute he is,” You rambled on and on, your legs kicking on the bed excitedly. “Like how clingy he is? He’s really clingy. And also pouty, especially when you tease him.” You let out a sigh. “I love him so much.”
Then, you looked at the time.
“I have to go,” You giggled. “i have a date with the love of my life.” You hung up and stood up. When you turned around, you were met with the sight of him staring at you shyly. He couldn’t even look you in the eye, his cheeks flushing. “Hi, Juyeonie?” You titled your head. Then your lips curled up mischievously. “Did you hear me talking about you?” You eyed him coyly.
He blushed even more.
“Yes…” He mumbled, looking down at the floor as he shifted. He let out a sudden whine. “But did you have to expose my habits just like that? It’s– embarrassing.”
You laughed and nodded, pulling him into a hug as you looked up at him. “Of course. I think your habits are the cutest.”
“But only you’re supposed to know about them.” Juyeon huffed with a pout. “Now the whole world knows.”
“Don’t be sulky.” You poked his cheek. “You’re too cute when you’re sulky.”
He whined again, making your eyes soften. “But I only want you to see this side of me.” He frowned, eyebrows furrowing.
“Okay, okay, fine.” You soothed him, brushing his hair out of his face in which he melted into your touch. “My big baby. Only for me.”
“That’s right.” He crossed his arms before pulling you into a heart-stopping kiss.
kevin
He wandered the house, tidying up random things and letting out occasional sighs of boredom. But suddenly, he heard your voice from across the apartment shouting. He was definitely worried as he rushed over to check on you. The door was slightly ajar and he could see that you were video-calling your friend.
He gasped, his cheeks immediately feeling hot. You were holding one of his artworks.
“Isn’t it so amazing?” You yelled excitedly. You kicked your feet with adorable giggles. “My boyfriend is such a great artist. I love him. Look how good this one is…” You pulled out another artwork. But what Kevin noticed was how gently you handled the canvases, which made his heart melt.
“Another one!” You beamed.
Your friend clapped briefly before giving you a worried look. “Y/n, maybe just calm down a bit.”
“No–” You shook your head stubbornly. “I have to show you another one–” Your words were interrupted when you heard the door creak open from behind. You whipped around to see him leaning against the doorframe, his arms crossed as he wore a fond smile.
“She’s right. Maybe take a deep breath?” He smiled.
Your body went rigid. “K-Kevin?”
“Hi, love.”
You hadn’t noticed your friend hang up already.
“What were you doing just now?” He laughed, approaching you, almost making you want to shrink with mortification.
“I was… showing your art…” You muttered.
“Really? Because as far as I know, that art was made specifically for you.”
“Was it?”
“Yeah.” He nodded. He pulled you into a tight hug, pressing a kiss to the top of your forehead. “Is the art pretty?”
“Of course it is.”
“Then the art was made for you. Since you’re beautiful.” He caressed your cheek.
You stammered, unable to come up with a response. Instead, you opted for burying your flushed face in his chest.
chanhee
It wasn’t often that your friend came over, so it was natural for you to be excited to see her again. The two of you went off to talk and have fun in another room as Chanhee kept to himself, scrolling through his phone with music playing in the background. But over the music, he could hear you speak his name. He tilted his head in confusion as he walked over the room.
He saw that the two of you were looking at the computer. Specifically, online shopping on a popular website.
“What about this one?” Your friend asked, pointing at the screen.
You stared at it for a second before shaking your head. “No. It has to be perfect.”
Your friend whined. “We’ve been looking for twenty minutes already.”
“If I’m trying to get a gift for him, it has to fit him,” You explained with a serious expression. “He’s already perfect! Something pretty, nice, and adorable… just like him.” You looked up at the ceiling with lovesick eyes.
Your friend rolled her eyes. “You’ve unbelievably whipped.”
“I am,” You sighed. “I’m in love with him.”
When your friend left, you decided to start cleaning up the mess that you two made. But suddenly, someone attacked you from behind, into a firm back hug. You immediately knew who it was, with his typical perfume and all. His chin was hooked over your shoulder as he peppered kisses all over your cheek.
You giggled. “What’s this for?”
“I don’t need a gift.” He whispered. “You’re all I need.”
You froze. “You heard everything?”
“Mhm.” He smiled. “Thank you for being so sweet.”
“Well, because it’s precisely you.”
He hummed in agreement. Then he kissed you again, this time longer and deeper. “I’m in love with you too.”
“Glad the feelings mutual,” You laughed.
“But what if I’m even more in love with you?” He challenged, smiling brightly.
“Oh, we’re making this a competition?”
changmin
You were currently on a video call with a family member and Changmin just happened to walk by. He was about to mind his own business when he heard you start yelling with frustration. He widened his eyes in fear that you were actually getting into a serious argument so he opened the door and peeked in.
“Are you seriously saying that he looks like a squirrel?” The younger boy on the screen looked at you skeptically.
“Yes!” You exclaimed.
“Uh…” He glanced down for a second before pulling up a hideous picture of a squirrel, mid-bite on his phone. “This is your man?”
You groaned, putting your head in your hands. “Why do you always pick the ugly pictures? Changmin is cute. A cute squirrel. Have you seen his cheeks when he eats? I want to squish them.”
“Jeez…” The boy rolled his eyes. “In love much?”
You snorted. “Like you would know.”
He gasped. “Woah. I’m blocking you.” And then he hung up. You fell against the back of your chair in disbelief.
“He actually hung up...”
“A squirrel, you say?” Your boyfriend appeared behind you, smiling cheekily.
You widened your eyes. “Changmin? How long were you– Where’d you come from?”
“Straight from your heart.” He wiggled his eyebrows.
“Okay, wow that’s cheesy.”
“Says the one who wants to squish my cheeks.”
You whined, “In my defense, you weren’t supposed to hea–” But he suddenly cupped your cheeks and pulled you into a deep kiss.
When he pulled away, he raised an eyebrow attractively. “Why don’t you call me cute to my face?”
“Why should I?”
“So I can kiss you breathless.”
“Really?” You smirked. You waited for a moment before leaning in and whispering into his ear. “Cutie.”
He laughed, his eyes darkening. “Oh, you better get ready.”
“Ah, I’m so scared.” You sarcastically joked. But then you yelped when he dove in and started kissing you with so much passion, you were in fact: breathless.
