i love the idea of darry and soda telling pony that they're dating paul and steve and pony acts super disgusted by it and is a bitch to paul and steve whenever they're around so darry and soda think that pony's homophobic
then pony brings johnny home and tells his brothers that they're dating.
obviously darry and soda are confused, all like "what? we thought you were homophobic tho?"
and pony looks them dead in the eye and says
"i'm not homophobic. you guys just have terrible taste in men."
