ok sooo the last time we saw zane have a like, prophetic vision was in season 11, i think? and after that it feels like it just hasn't been a thing anymore, idk maybe the writers just were done with it, but maybe MAYBE it can be explained by the Never Realm?

So Tommy A. said how Zane was actually sent into the past as well as into the Never Realm, and it was about 60~ years back. Maybe the reason why Zane was having these visions is because there was a version of him that was existing at the same time, and that version actually HAD those memories. Then something something brain stuff same person, idk maybe they share a mindspace or dreams??? stupid logic to make this sound sane :(. but then after season 11, there was only the present version, resulting in no more future visions.

OK OK AND I KNOW that his vision about the Ice Emperor was from a 3rd person perspective, but its a prophetic DREAM right, so it could be just his brains interpretation of it. I mean if they shared like a dreamscape or something i dont think its like, too far fetched? theyve got all that stuff with lego dreamz right now (which had a crossover w/ ninjago), and the Ice emperor has been seen like napping on his throne? (coz its hard work doing all that sitting dude). Or maybe im just driving myself crazy trying to milk more Zane stuff out of ninjago. but yeah :l I think its kinda cool!

Like there's Boreal, probably the biggest (non source) dragon in all Ninjago (except maybe Ultra Dragon) who basically killed all the Formlings and nearly the Ninja too

Nope, Kai does not have a great time in the Never Realm. Snakes literally do not exist in the Never Realm because the perpetual cold would kill them. Kai's method of locomotion (aka slithering) also involves him having a Lot of his body against the snow, which means more surface area for the cold to leech the heat out of him.

At least he's got friends to help minimize that part, though.

Me, I don’t really think so. Imma gonna agree with TannerFishies and that it could just be Kai’s reflection on it.

BUT something I will might agree with is that being a similar crystal that house the overlord. One thing I was confused about th Overlord being so crystal heavy. (Also in a writers perspective too) and DAMN what type of crystal was that make the Overlord had such powers. SOOooooo imma just bring this old theory here…. or at least observation.
