Dating Nevada Ramírez mood board.

Carolyn had found herself in Nevada's rental car after Cheryl had ditched her to have a good time with some bar fly. The sound of the road passed through the clean car and filled the silence between them.

The fight or flight feeling had escaped her and had been replaced with intrigue. She'd never been with a man like Nevada Ramirez. The man was practically sex on a stick and sge was sitting beside him in his car like a nervous teenage virgin.

The man had sauntered up to her at the bar with blood still on his ear from some criminal activity that she had no business knowing about.

He was trouble. He was dangerous. He was smooth. He was tall, dark, and handsome. He was everything that would have every girl on her back whenever he demanded.

And here she was in his car telling him where she lived. 

Carolyn felt completely nuts.She needed to be locked up in Frederick's hospital. She was the good girl in white. She didn't bring strange men dressed in black home from the bar. 

But, yet again, here she was.

Her fingers absently fiddled with the hem of her white dress as her nerves rippled through her. She shivered with both worry and desire for the man driving her home.

Her entire being was conflicted.

Nevada Ramirez had been the first man to not run away from her once he found out about her mutism. He had stayed. He had talked with her and made her feel good about herself. Though she knew it was all an act, it did make her feel better about herself.

Then there was the ring that Frederick had given her. They weren't together, but it still meant something to her. And he had asked her to keep it.

She felt Nevada's sharp gaze fall on her, most likely looking at her bare legs and fidgety fingers. She shivered under his gaze.

Carolyn looked over to him and gave him a small, weak smile as she pointed to her house.

She was really going to do this. 

As the car came to a stop in her driveway, she felt her heart drop into her stomach.

Carolyn wasn't sure if she was ready for this. She wasn't sure in herself. She wasn't exactly prepared to be with someone so soon after Frederick.
