Welcome to Carisi's Dark Side
šļø Mr. Carisiās Archives (Masterlist) | āļø Terms of Engagement (Guidelines) & Official Inquiries (Ask Me Anything) | š Ao3 | š Kinktober25
Iāve been watching you.
Not in the creepy way ā well, maybe just a little. But only because I know what youāre looking for.
You pause when heās on screen. You replay the way he leans in, voice low, like every word is just for you. You pretend itās casual. Itās not.
Youāre not here by accident.
You want the part of Carisi that doesnāt follow rules. The part that doesnāt wait for permission. The sharp edge. The heat under the surface.
This blog is for the thoughts you donāt say out loud. The ones that wake you up at night and leave you flushed.
If youāre here, you already crossed a line.
Might as well see how deep it goes...
Late at the Diner (Fin X Reader)
Summary: Character requested by @a-folkwhore. After cancelling every dinner date one week, you finally get frustrated and are very keen to let him know.
Masterlist
-----------------
It had been a week of canceled plans. Seven long days of you waiting outside the precinct, only to get a last-minute text or a quick apology as Fin dashed off to handle yet another case. You understood, his job was demanding, and peopleās lives depended on him, but understanding didnāt make the disappointment sting any less. By Friday night, your patience had run out.
Standing outside the precinct once again, you felt the frustration bubbling inside you. The city was alive around you, its usual energy doing little to calm the storm in your chest. When the door finally opened and Fin stepped out, you didnāt greet him with your usual smile.
āAnother night, huh?ā you said, crossing your arms. Your tone was sharper than you intended, but you couldnāt help it. āWhatās the excuse this time?ā
Fin stopped in his tracks, his brows furrowing. āWhatās that supposed to mean?ā
āIt means,ā you snapped, āthat Iām tired of being stood up. Every single night this week, Fin. Every night. Do you know how that feels?ā
He sighed, running a hand over his face. āLook, Iām sorry. Things have been crazy with the cases lately. You know that.ā
āI do know that,ā you shot back. āBut do you know what I want? Just one night. One dinner. One conversation that doesnāt end with you running off to chase down some perp. Is that really too much to ask?ā
His jaw tightened, and for a moment, you thought he was going to walk away. Instead, he turned to face you fully, his eyes narrowing. āYou think I like canceling on you? You think I enjoy this? This job⦠itās not nine to five. Itās not predictable. Peopleās lives are on the line, and I canāt just clock out because you want a burger.ā
The words stung, but you refused to back down. āItās not just about the burger, Fin. Itās about feeling like I matter. Like Iām not just some afterthought you squeeze in between cases. I get it, your job is important, but⦠so am I.ā
For a moment, the two of you stood there, the weight of your words hanging in the air. Finally, Finās expression softened, and he let out a heavy sigh.
āYouāre right,ā he said quietly. āYou do matter. More than I probably let on. I⦠Iām sorry. Iāve been so caught up in everything, I didnāt realize how much Iāve been letting you down.ā
The sincerity in his voice made your anger melt away, replaced by a pang of guilt. āIām sorry, too. I know your job isnāt easy. I just⦠I miss you, Fin.ā
He stepped closer, his gaze steady. āIāve been wanting to take you to this diner for weeks. Best greasy burgers in the city. Itās my favorite spot, and Iāve been saving it for a night we could actually enjoy it. Let me make it up to you. Tonight. No excuses.ā
You hesitated, studying his face. He looked tired, but there was a determination in his eyes that you couldnāt ignore. Finally, you nodded. āOkay. But if you cancel on me again, Iām not waiting outside. Iām coming in there and dragging you out myself.ā
A small smile tugged at his lips. āFair enough. Now come on. Let me show you what youāve been missing.ā
The walk to the diner was quieter than usual, but the tension between you had eased. By the time you reached the small, cozy spot, the smell of sizzling beef and fresh fries was enough to make you forget your frustration entirely. The waitress greeted Fin like an old friend, and you couldnāt help but smile.
āThis your usual haunt?ā you asked as you slid into the booth across from him.
āSomething like that,ā he said, shrugging. āFigured Iād finally share it with you.ā
The food arrived quickly, and the first bite of the burger was enough to make you let out an involuntary hum of approval. Fin watched you with a smug expression, leaning back in his seat.
āTold you,ā he said. āBest burgers in the city.ā
You rolled your eyes, but you couldnāt hide your smile. āAlright, you win. But donāt let it go to your head.ā
āToo late,ā he replied, his tone teasing.
As the night went on, the two of you fell into your usual rhythm, the earlier argument fading into the background. You joked, teased, and laughed, and for the first time in what felt like forever, you felt like you had Fin all to yourself.
When you finally left the diner, the city was quieter, the streets bathed in the soft glow of streetlights. Fin slipped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you close.
āThanks for putting up with me,ā he said. āI know Iām not the easiest person to be with.ā
āYouāre worth it,ā you replied, leaning into him. āJust donāt forget to let me know every once in a while that Iām worth it, too.ā
He stopped walking, turning to face you. āYou are. More than you know. And Iāll do better. I promise.ā
The sincerity in his voice made your chest ache in the best way. You smiled, reaching up to press a quick kiss to his cheek.
āGood. Now, letās get you home before another case pops up and ruins the moment.ā
He chuckled, guiding you down the street. āNot tonight. Tonightās just for us.ā

found a mistake in the law and order svu confidential book. 100 percent sure Kim Rollins is Amanda's criminal sister and not a detective.
Forgot to set the date on the camera so it's wrong, lol. 𤣠š
Firelight (Rafael Barba Imagine)
Third POV
"What the hell were you thinking?" Rafael says, marching alongside you after a long long day trying to catch a predator and possibly putting yourself in harms way to get the creep to incriminate himself. "I was thinking that I'm a detective and can easily and willingly use myself as bait when the situation arises," You say defensively, "Olivia said it was fine," You reassure and he sighs to himself,
"When you do things like this it makes it harder for me to do my job!" He exclaims as you both approach his apartment front door, "So why did you invite me over to your place then?" You ask, dusting the snow off of your coat, as he unlocks the door to his large home.
"Because now after you did this I need to prepare you for what they could ask you on the stand tomorrow!" He exclaims "I've been on the stand before, Barba,"
He mumbles something in Spanish to himself before allowing both of you inside the apartment. He immediately goes to the bar cart to pour a drink and you slide your coat off your shoulders, happy to be out of the New York City snowstorm.
"Besides, with this storm I guarantee the trial date is going to have to be pushed back. No way these roads will be clear by morning," "Great. So another day the man who tried to rape you will spend another day not facing punishment,"
"Is that what this is about? You're mad that he tried to go after me," "He didn't 'go after you', Y/N, he had you pinned against the wall and said what he wanted to do to you. I had to hear all of that," "You're not mad because I made the case harder for you. You're mad because I was in danger," You say, voice softer now as Rafael bites his cheek, looking out the window.
"Rafa," You say softly, sitting on the couch next to him. "Olivia said something to me today. It's had me thinking a lot," "Well tell me. You know you can tell me anything," You say, feeling his warmth now that you're sitting so close.
"It was nothing. I assume you're right about the case, but you should still stay here," "Hm?" You ask, trying to not focus too much on the fact that he completely changed the subject. "The snow storm is forecasted to make the roads dangerous. Stay here with me," He says and you feel your heart melt.
The light in the apartment is dim. The only light flickers from the gas fireplace that Rafael clicked on when you both came in. He swirls his drink in his hand as you sit inches away from him, both listening to the crackling of the fire.
The lights of NYC light up the windows as snow falls at a fast speed. "You asked me here because you wanted to be with me and know I'm safe," You whisper and he bites his lip, and your heart begins to race.
"Rafa," You say, inching closer to him and he shifts in his seat, "Olivia said that-well she asked if this case is going to be too personal for me because it involves you," "Wait what?" You ask, stomach now doing flips, "She thought that I was too close to this case because it involves you,"
Your breath catches in your throat as you watch Rafael, your best friend in this whole world, put his drink down on the coffee table. This is not nearly the first time you've been here to talk about cases or just spend time with each other, but it's always been just that...nothing more than just friends.
"That makes sense. She knows we're good friends," "No. That's not it and you know it," He says, now looking you in the eyes as you fiddle with your fingers. "me has embrujado" he whispers to himself before glancing back up at you. "She was right, Y/N. I don't know how to win this case without wanting to rip this guy apart with my bare hands," Rafael says, and without another word, you put both hands on the sides of his face and kiss him gently.
He smiles into the kiss before placing a hand on the side of your head, "How long have you felt this way?" "Since the moment I met you," He says before kissing you again, laying you back down against the soft couch, letting the firelight illuminate each other's features.
The kiss deepens and you begin to undo his tie, "You sure?" "Rafa...please," You whisper and he smiles before he kisses your neck...leading to a night that you'd never ever forget.
Is there any interest in a PirateAU SVU cast (and by SVU cast I mean Rafael, Liv, Carisi, Fin, Amaro, Rollins and possibly Dodds)?
