donât worry this tumblr isnât changing to monetise or advertise, but i wrote a novel with a kickstarter coming next week and think that you might be interested. inspired by apogee and id software releases iâm using the â90s shareware distribution method, aka first âepisodeâ free
most things havenât worked out, a science fiction novel wondering whatâs gone wrong with the economy and our society ? most things havenât worked out is a gothic science fiction novel about brain implants romance and our breaking world Michael has everything that many other mid-level corporate managers have, a devoted professional wife, a nice car, a job everyone wants, and a great home in a safe neighbourhood, all signs pointing to a life trending up. he also has a net-connected brain implant and a bad day at work that goes viral. not everything happens as expected, in fact most things havenât worked out. a novel about love labour and loss in a future so near we may have already passed it, presenting a corporate world of wonder and misery where machines have a better chance of connecting with each other than people do. i describe the story as industrial gothic because it focuses on decaying personal relationships within the framework of a failing industrial economyÂ

If you remove the chip wrong do you run the risk of permanent neural damage? And if so..are areas like Brocaâs area, frontal lobe functions, and temporal lobe subjected to permanent if not lasting damage, considering the chipâs placement along the temples, if Iâm not mistaken?
âAnother old message....â Sil grumbles to himself as he thinks of his answer, which prompts Shiver to stroll over and sit down beside him
âI mean.....probably? I donât really know much of the neural interface, it more than likely would affect those areas of the brain, but again Iâm not the tech whiz or the human anatomy whiz. I specialize with animals aha, I do suppose it targets all areas of the brain that focus on cognitive ability, and whatever part aids with addictions and whatnot.â Sil says while trying to rack his brain
