Got a call from the sawmill this morning; " please come and collect your yew as it's getting in our way." With which instruction I was very happy to comply! Not surprisingly there are some beautiful looking planks in this selection. Today I manged to clear a pile of assorted logs off my driveway, and collected some robinia and elm which were planked for me during the past week. At this point I haven't got the faintest idea what any of the planks will be used for once they are dry, it's just nice to see them all sitting and maturing. A big thanks to the folks at Nettlebed sawmill this morning for taking some awkward shaped lumps of maple and milling them into a pile of more useful planks.
