#nerds flirting

Imagine Yata trying to be smooth and just failing so hard because Fushimi doesn't react at all. Like Yata's working at Homra coffee shop and one day Fushimi walks in to order, Yata thinks he's kinda cute and the other Homra guys working with him are all come on, try to flirt with that guy. Yata's all I'm going to, I can be smooth you know and the other guys kinda laugh because everyone knows Yata's a total virgin who's always putting his foot in his mouth whenever he tries to flirt. Yata gets annoyed and bets he can get that guy's number easy, determined to show them that he is not in fact a virgin and he does so know how to flirt. So tired irritable nerd Fushimi comes up to the counter to order a black coffee, Yata tries to be all chatty and personable and of course Fushimi is having none of it, all he thinks is that this guy at the coffee shop is so annoying and needs to leave him alone and not talk to him. Yata's trying his best but he's picked the absolute worst person to try out his charm on and finally in desperation he grabs Fushimi's cup and writes like 'hey, call me' with his number on it and slides it over to Fushimi. Yata waits with baited breath as Fushimi takes the cup to his table, all the other Homra guys lean forward to watch as Fushimi takes a sip, looks at the cup, then promptly tosses it in the trash can with a click of his tongue and leaves.

Yata's like what the fuck while the rest of the guys laugh, like wow way to strike out Yata. This just fires up Yata's desire not to lose though and he's like give me time okay I'm gonna get that asshole to call me and go out on a date if I have to kick his ass to make it happen. So now Yata is focused on showing that he can win Fushimi over and the next time Fushimi comes into the cafe Yata's immediately there making his coffee and trying to write smooth messages on the cup. I imagine this starting out with actual flirting messages or at least getting to know you type things, maybe Yata tries terrible pick up lines a couple times and Fushimi doesn't even drink the coffee when he gets those so Yata tries just asking like his name and address.
