Absolutely! Any opportunity, he’d probably wish for little things like for his friends to have a good day tomorrow or that he’ll get to hang out with so-and-so soon if he’s been having trouble meeting up. He’d also absolutely wish for others to find romance. Every little bit helps.

☂ :Storms or clear skies? 

Oh clear by a long shot, he loves soaking up the sun and less clouds make everything’s colors pop. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t like rain though, it’s soothing and sometimes a storm can be exciting but he’s glad they’re temporary; he’d have a hard time otherwise.

☎ :List three or more people they would call out for during an emergency.

If he were actually in danger himself he would first call out for Anita, then Minerva, then any of his friends depending on the situation. Regarding actual emergency contacts, he has Anita, Minerva, and Lab (Zeke) listed.

❤ :Describe a physical action that shows complete trust.

Cruz is a very physical creature as is, very free and open with his affection. He is also extremely trusting and generally takes an Good Until Proven Bad mindset, meaning everyone is automatically trustworthy when he first meets them unless they give off immediate bad vibes. So, basically, as long as he is open and affectionate with you At All, it means he trusts you.

✗ :Explain how they portray feelings of hostility or dislike.

He is a creature of instinct, deep down. If he’s uncomfortable or in a situation where he feels he must defend himself he will always show it first with body language and facial expressions; Cruz will become standoffish and closed off, crossing his arms, attempting to shrink, floating lower or otherwise shying away. If the situation’s hostile then he will use his teeth and claws as he feels is necessary but this is an extreme rarity.

✉ :Do they tend to rely on words or actions more?

For his own communication, Cruz faces some frustration that he can’t rely more on actions as most people aren’t as good at interpreting them as he is at face value. However, from others he tends to go by word more than anything as, until proven otherwise, he will trust what they tell him. Cruz is capable of being more critical and discerning though, when times call for it, and analyze what others do through interactions; if they lie, treat their friends poorly, things like that. I guess he relies on… all of them… lmfao but mostly i would say actions.

♡  :Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.

In Life Dust he was going to develop a more balanced view like this. In his new original setting not so much, he’s a lot more cynical due to his history (details of which I’m still hashing out but, for reference, he’s a skin walker and their whole deal is generally very unpleasant). In Nightmare Acaemy I think, due to more positive influences from a young age, he would like to think more positively like this.

εжз :What about nature do they find calming? What about nature do they find disagreeable?

How open and expansive it is, among just about everything else. The sights, the smells, the sounds, the sky, grass beneath his puppy feets, It’s so much nicer to be out wandering and get lost than to be cooped up and unable to go anywhere.

☛ :What is their typical response to being given orders?

It depends entirely on context; how the order is given, who’s giving it, what the order is. For the most part, if it’s reasonable and not yelled at him, he’ll go along with it. If it’s something he doesn’t like for any reason he’s more liable to blow it off.

Touch, generally, is reserved for people he is close to. Decisive and intimate touches, that is; a hand to the shoulder, ruffling hair, going arm in arm, hugs. The clearest sign you definitely have his trust though is if he naps near, with, or on you because he’s completely vulnerable.

Very clearly. Glaring, cringing or otherwise bearing teeth, he’ll even growl at you if it’s strong enough. He also isn’t above shoving or other hostile behavior leading up to an outright brawl, if provoked enough.

Being calm, not carrying drama around, soft voices and light touches. He actually really likes having his hair played with, too, and getting his head or back scratched, so yes please he will totally like you for all those things.
