I’ve always liked songs more than an artist or a group so I’ve never really been a hardcore fan of any one artist or group in particular. This song is one of those songs and it just happens to be a Beatles song. My cowriter/ husband rearranged it in a different style to fit the sound of our debut album, ‘Interstellar’ which I’m so very proud to say has won the ‘Best New Artist in Japan’ award! If you like what you hear, you can download the entire album on iTunes and Amazon or stream it on Spotify :) Some of my friends have told me that they like playing the album in the car or when they’re cooking. The music is more like whiskey aged in a wooden cask than it is an easy drink of water so it’s not for everyone. HOW TO MAKE SOME CRAZY GOOD SANGRIA:
2 bottles crianza rioja red wine (you can also use tempranillo or grenache)
1 cup orange juice (i used fresh squeezed because it’s sweeter than the bottled but like DO WHATEVER)
2 cups total of muddled blackberries, halved strawberries, and pineapple chunks
1 cup triple sec or brandy (i used cointreau because we had it lying around)
3 tbsp. sugar
1 orange sliced into circles (we used a blood orange to be fancy)
let sit 3-24 hours in the fridge (mine sat about 18.) just before serving add 1 cup pineapple fanta to the pitcher (you can substitute sprite or any kind of seltzer for this depending on your tastes.)
IT’S SO GOOD Y’ALL. it’s very sweet, like not sickeningly so but basically it’s sweet enough that the wine alcohol aftertaste is completely gone so it’s REAL EASY to feel like it’s a punch and forget that you’re essentially drinking wine PLUS liquor wow.
