Imagine that Fenris the wolf survives his fall off of Asgard and somehow makes it to Earth where he is found by a resident earthling whom he bonds with and he turns out to be a really sweet pupper. SHIELD gets wind of this and plans to take the wolf but decide to send Thor and Loki trying to prove his worth who have experience with this animal to assist agents to do so but it does not go as planned. Fenris freaks out trying to protect his human and Loki takes notice of the bond. He instead uses his superior skill and negotiates that you will be allowed to stay with Fenris at one of Stark’s facilities where it would be safer for everyone. You agree and Loki takes it upon himself to keep an eye on you and begins to fall for you. He tries to flirt and be his charming Loki self to try and win your affections but you always get really nervous around the trickster. Fenris picks up on this and doesn’t seem to like him and always growls at him when he feels Loki is to close. It is only after you become brave enough too confess that you have feelings for the trickster that the wolf finally accepts Loki into the pack so to speak.
