“Well, it looks like three exo members are currently standing outside my door dressed in black,” Jinmi explained, “So what is this supposed to look like?” 

Minseok pinched the bridge of his nose and smiled at Jinmi. She crossed her arms as she leaned against the door frame. 

“Jongin and Sunmi had a fight,” Minseok explained. 

“I heard,” Jinmi nodded, “So why are you here?” 

“Is she here?” Chanyeol asked. 

“No,” Jinmi stated. 

Between the three boys, they seemed to mumble to each other and give each other looks. Jinmi really didn’t see why they needed to be involved in Jongin and Sunmi’s relationship. 

Sehun laughed to himself, “Can you help us? Jongin is happy-” 

“Then he shouldn’t have been cuddling another girl in his dressing room,” Jinmi cut him off, “I have to go to bed,” 

Minseok stepped forward, “Hey-” 

Shuffling out of the dressing room, Hyejin tried to bite down the smile on her face. Three hallways down and checking around to make sure no one was watching, Hyejin opened the little supply closet. 

Soobin jumped slightly before a smile spread across his face. Her cheeks turned bright red as she closed the door behind her and they were left in little light. 

“Hi,” Hyejin waved softly. 

“Hi,” Soobin giggled softly, “It’s been a while,” 

“Yeah!” She nervously rubbed her hands together, “I’m half grounded from the group now because of the whole running away thing and now I only get my phone between nine in the morning and six at night,” 

He puffed out his cheeks, “That sucks,” 

“I’m in a group with twenty one males,” Hyejin shrugged. 

Soobin laughed at the comment. She really was a well protected group member, the youngest of such a large group filled with primarily males. Yet that wasn’t why they were here. 

He needed to remember Jungkook’s advice. 

“Um, do you want to be my girlfriend?” Soobin blurted out, “And I’ll be your boyfriend...?” 

Biting her lip, Hyejin could feel her stomach doing flips, “Yes, I mean, Yeah, I can do that,” 

“Oh!” 

Giggles escaped them both at the cute exchange. Soobin cleared his throat while Hyejin looked up at him, there really was a massive height difference that was only becoming apparent. 

“May I kiss you?” Soobin asked. 

Hyejin smiled, he was polite, “Of course,” 

Soobin leaned down, pressing his lips to Hyejin’s and rolling his eyes shut. It was a little bit awkward for her at first, before she pressed her lips back against his. 

A sweet kiss that was cut short by the door suddenly opening, making them pull away and stare with wide eyes. Hyejin almost screamed at the sight of the person standing at the door. 

“If your going to meet up with a boy and make out with him in a closet, at least don’t leave the evidence behind,” Yuta stated, holding up the slip of paper in his hands, “Get out of the closet Hyejin,” 

“Um, Hyejin is my girlfriend now,” Soobin stated confidently, making Hyejin shake her head. 

Blinking, Sophia slowly nodded. Well, Hyejin was easily won over with candy. She was more surprised that Yoongi took a liking to Hyejin so quickly when it took nearly a whole month before he accepted Sophia. 

Before Sophia could knock, Hyejin was pressing in the pin code for the studio. He had given her the pin code?! Well, someone was certainly playing favourites. 

Poking her head inside, Hyejin smiled brightly as she found the familiar male sitting in his own little spot. 

“Suga!” Hyejin beamed. 

A small smile spread over Suga’s face as he turned in the chair, humming as he greeted Hyejin. She was becoming a little sister figure in his life now. 

What made Hyejin stop was the other person in the room, while Sophia stood at the door. She didn’t want to intrude on the ‘genius’. 

“Soobin, this is Hyejin,” Suga explained. 

“Hi..,” Hyejin whispered, almost as if she was embarrased. 

Soobin chuckled, “Your that girl that bit me at the award show,” 

Jaw dropping, Sophia stared at Hyejin who pursed her lips and nodded slowly. She was just slightly ashamed, her first person meeting someone and she literally bit them. It usually came after. 

“You bit him?!” Sophia whispered. 

“I thought he was Jaemin..,” Hyejin whispered. 

“....I..,” Sophia couldn’t believe what she was hearing. 

“It’s fine,” Soobin smiled, “It was weirdly cute,” 

Looking at Suga, Sophia laughed nervously, “If she tries biting, just push her away,” 

With red cheeks, Hyejin nodded slowly as Sophia left the studio and the door clicked shut. Her attention was shifted back to Soobin, the male towering over her. She pushed her fingers together and whispered. 

“Sorry for biting you, it’s a habit that I can’t break,” 

“I really don’t mind,” He chuckled softly, “You can bite me all you want,” 

Suga decided to speak up, “Don’t say that, it just sounds weird,” 

Mark’s eyebrows pulled together as he watched the eldest member of NCT, Taeil, kiss Sunmi on the forehead. She blushed behind the mask on her face, pulling it down to her chin. 

“Oh, hello Taeil,” She smiled softly. 

“It’s good to see you back,” He smiled back, a look on fondness in his eyes. 

The leader of the female group looked around slightly, confusion written on her face for a moment. She counted the members of NCT 127 and Dream, expect for one. 

“Where’s Hyejin?” Sunmi asked, worry in her voice. 

“She’s at school,” Chenle’s depressed voice sounded, his shoulder’s slumped, “She had to go because there was a test on tattoo,” 

Johnny was quick to speak up, “But we’re picking her up from school today,” 

Before she could talk, the door opened again and Yeri barged in. The boys went silent, staring at her with wide eyes. The maknae of Red Velvet had a stern look on her face, grasping her best friend’s hand. 

“Your coming with me, Miss,” Yeri spoke. 

“What?” Sunmi followed, “Did something happen?” 

“The manager will be there and so will we,” Jinmi explained, “Nothing will happen to you,” 

Tears rolled down the youngest cheeks, Sunmi turning her head from the front seat with a disappointed look on her face. They looked like a family, a mother scolding her children for making the baby cry. 

“Why did you tell her?” Sunmi snapped. 

“She was going to find out anyway,” Sophia shrugged, “Why not prepare her?” 

Sunmi shook her head while Hyejin sobbed. 

“They wear gold teeth and swear and they have tattoos!” She sobbed. 

The second eldest had to look out the window and cover her mouth, attempting not to laugh. Hyejin truly was a sheltered child. 

As they pulled into the underground parking lot of the building, Jinmi looked out curiously. Usually people tried to break into SM’s parking lot, plenty of saesangs or over excited fans but no one was watching. 

Even walking to the elevator was a breeze, no cameras flashing from a distance. It was honestly a big relief. 

They all piled into the elevator with their manager, who was on the phone. Hyejin was attempting to cling to Sunmi although Sophia had to pick her up and place her in the elevator. 

It wasn’t long before they were greeted by the trio in a meeting room. 

“Hello,” Sunmi announced, “We are NCT XX,” 

“Hello,” Hwimin had the biggest smile on his face, while Gyujeong waved from beside him, Nari simply nodded. 

The girls took their seat, beginning to discuss their views for the next album. 

“We want to do a more hip hop sounding album and music,” Sunmi explained, “A lot of our music in the past has high lighted our vocals but we want to put the focus on our rappers,” 

“That’s not a very SM move,” Nari commented, only for Hwimin to nudge her. 

“We can do that,” Gyujeong nodded, “Which of you are rappers?” 

Jinmi scratched her cheek, “I wouldn’t call myself a rapper, I just had the best talent for it out of the three of us,” 

“Our lead rapper is Hyejin,” 

The tall rapper sunk down in his seat at the sound of his name. The good thing for now was that the public didn’t know that an idol was missing but it wouldn’t take long to spread if anyone outside the group found out. 

All members of the massive group were stocked into the small longue room of the 127 dorm, sitting around with concern on their faces. Chenle was almost in tears at the sound of his best friend missing. 

“What if something happens to her?” Chenle whispered. 

“It’s okay,” Taeyong reassured him, patting his head. 

Sophia was brain storming, chewing on his lip and staring out the window. Jinmi had bags under her eyes, trying to call or text the youngest member of the group. Sunmi looked tired. 

“What about her parents?” Johnny asked. 

“Her parents would only freak out if they found out and they live in Daegu,” Jeno explained, “Shouldn’t we call the police maybe?” 

“That is the last thing we need,” Sunmi whispered. 

Taeil groaned, “And what if this is a police thing?! What if a saesang or a stalker kidnapped her like you suggested? What if she’s hurt?! Hyejin’s easy to lure out if you have something covered in sugar,” 

A click made everyone looked at the eldest female, Sophia clicking her fingers before clapping her hands together. She pointed to Taeil, who leaned back slightly as if he was offended. 

“Sugar!” Sophia clapped her hands, “Yoongi!” 

“What?” Taeil asked. 

“Hyejin would have gone to Yoongi!” Sophia announced, “There’s no where else she could be other than with one of us, she loves him! Other than-” 

Haechan pursed his lips, “Sophia,” 

“Yes?” Sophia asked. 

“BTS are in Japan right now,” 

Her shoulders dropped. Right, how could she forget? Taehyung had told her just two days ago after all. There was no way Hyejin would be in Japan either. 

“Wait,” 

Everyone looked at Sunmi again. 

“Hasn’t she been making friends with the other group?” Sunmi asked, “Tomorrow and Today or something?

“No!” Jinmi covered her face, “He’s Doyoung’s brother!” 

Silence filled the air, before it was like a click on Sophia’s face. She screamed, backing away and staring at Jinmi. 

Multiple expressions crossed Sophia’s face, her mouth and opening and closing multiple times as she spoke wordlessly. Jinmi groaned and slammed her head against the tiles. 

“That’s one step away from fucking Doyoung!” Sophia yelled in a whisper. 

“I didn’t know!” Jinmi groaned. 

“THEY LOOK THE SAME, JINMI,” 

She gave her best friend a pointed look, making Sophia shrug and sit on the edge of the bath. Jinmi pursed her lips. 

“I have to break it off,” Jinmi stated. 

“Well duh, if you keep this up your about to be Doyoung’s sister in law,” Sophia stated. 

“Oh god, this is fucking bad!” Jinmi sighed. 

Sophia looked down before looking at Jinmi, “But did he know your close with his brother?”

“Uh, I have no idea, I didn’t hang around to ask questions,” Jinmi stated, “I rooted and booted,” 

“Oh so you took my advice for once!” Sophia laughed.
