Studio Time

Yena was rereading the lyrics for God knows how many times. She wasn't sure what was off but reading it thousands of times crushed her confidence she had in the song.

"Yena, at least tell us what's wrong. We can help."

She looked up to the producer.

"I don't know oppa. It just feels off you know? I liked it at first but now I'm not sure."

The producer and the songwriter sighed looking at her manager. The manager unnie subtly shook her head to show everything was fine.

"Yena, take the lyrics with you. We want you to connect with them. The company also-"

"The company wouldn't allow me to sing my own songs?"

"It's your first solo album sweetie. We need more professional opinions."

Yena was in the middle. She knew her writings weren't the best and needed some touch ups but not being able to create your own work was different. Her members had the freedom for their owns and they were her biggest supporters to show her new side. But the company wasn't on the same line with them.

"Can't you talk with them again unnie? I will look at those tonight again, I promise but at least I should have a say in what kinda song will be in my own album."

"I mean she is not wrong. We can at least look through what she has done so far. Maybe changing one or two things. If we work together she will feel more comfprtable."

She smiled at the older producer.

"Thank you."

"Okay, okay. I will talk with them again. I'm not promising anything though. Just keep working. Okay?"

"Okay."
