So, I just got a bunch of mosquito bites and realized it may not be common knowledge on how to make them stop itching/help them heal faster.
When you get a mosquito bite, make a paste out of baking soda and water. Not so thin that it's soupy, but not so dry that it flakes off right away. Then cake it on the bite and let it work it's magic until it fully dries.
Repeat any time the bite starts itching again.
It makes them heal at like twice the speed and stops the itching. Often only takes 2-3 treatments per bite for it to stop itching completely and start shrinking.
Also, the faster you get it on for the first treatment, the better it will work. If it's only been two hours or less, it's fantastic. A full day or more since you got the bite, less so.
(Also helps just as much, if not more, for bee stings.)
