So I see you have a 2.5 gallon tank on your wish list - I'd definitely say to get a 5 gallon, which is what most people say the minimum is for bettas! Mine is very happy in that size - I couldn't imagine anything smaller. You can probably get a used one online somewhere! Also, if you're up for it, try thinking about live plants! They're not much more expensive than the plastic/silk ones, and they do a lot of good things for a tank. Make sure you get a water conditioner to make tap safe for
your betta, and a ph lock! If you get plants make sure the ph lock isn't phosphate-based/is safe for plants. Last but not least, when you do get the new tank, make sure it runs for a while before you put your betta in there! It'll need to properly cycle first - definitely Google nitrogen cycling for fishtanks to get the background info that you need. Good luck with your new critter! ❤️
Thanks for the advice! The aquarium on my wishlist comes in 5 gallons too, so that’s good :) Sadly I don’t know anything about live plants or where to get them, so I’m just gonna go with silk for my first real aquarium ^^
Thank you for telling me about the cycle and whatnot, I had no idea it was so important! What’s your opinion on a bacteria start up kit? Many reviews say the fish could be put in the new tank within 24 hours of using one.
Your late night God is dead problems made me smile because it's 4am and I can't sleep and I'm just happy someone else is awake hahaha. How was the oatmeal??
its 3 here but i get that its more fun being awake when other people are. and it was good even though it was too sweet but like whatever at least im not hungry anymore

mm, yes, yes I should.
Hey! I actually found you through your vegan food blog, but I saw the photos you posted from today in Boston on the pond and I thought it was funny because my boyfriend and I did the same thing today, haha (he goes to emerson). Anyways, hope you have a lovely week! :)
Haha really? that's awesome. You too love :3
