My Dare For You!!

1. What is your favorite color? (like EXACTLY) Oh I will tell you EXACTLY.  Imagine it's the first warm day of spring.  You decide to stop for a moment  and appreciate being alive to experience this beautiful afternoon.  Glancing upward, you see sunlight filtering through the young leaves of a maple.  They glow with the joy of waking up from winter's hibernation.  You imagine you can hear them purring their delight at the sun's kisses.  That is my favorite color.  A green so vibrant and alive you can almost taste the photosynthesis.

2. If you could make one purchase, regardless of the cost, what would it be? A one way ticket to Australia.

3. Who’s your OTP and why? Hmmm.  Well I'm a bit jaded and cynical these days, so I tend to stay in the brotp area.  And in that vein, Merry♥Pippin, all the way.  Because they're perfect.  They can see each other exactly as they are, flaws and all, and still choose to see the best in one another.

4. What is your happiest memory? Freshman year, fall break, our dorm took a trip to Chicago.  After a comedy show one of the nights, I and three of my recently-acquired friends took our sweet time walking the stretch of Michigan Ave. back to our hotel.  We stopped at a cozy restaurant for dinner, took pictures silly and beautiful.  We stopped in the Apple store and the Hershey's store and saw them filming this video.  It drizzled just the right amount.  We talked about everything from astronomy and wave functions to Mitch Hedberg and Eddie Izzard.  And by the end of the night I had well and properly fallen in love for the first time.

5. What your dream partner? (in love, friendship, family, etc…) Funny, independent, intelligent.  Must love Firefly.  Doesn't mind sitting in silence for extended periods of time.

6.Who is your idol and what is your favorite part about them? That's a tie.  Julie Andrews, for so many reasons (if interested, you can read about them here).  And Neil Degrasse Tyson because he's brilliant and witty and makes astronomy so easy to understand, and he's not afraid to say the shit that needs saying.

7. If you could change one thing about the past, present, or future, what would it be? Give science and education (and NASA) the funding they deserve.

8. What do you most look forward to in the future? In the long term, running my own business.  It sounds challenging and amazing, and it'll be nice to be my own boss.  But in the short term, Bumbershoot!  My best friend is going and a friend I haven't seen in ages and Schoolyard Heroes is doing a reunion show and I'm SO EXCITED.

9. If you could say whatever you wanted to whoever you wanted, without any negative consequences, what would you say and to who? I'd probably give the world's leaders a stern talking-to that would make Molly Weasley proud.  Something along the lines of worrying less about power and more about people and maybe could they get over themselves and work together for a change.

10. What is your dream job? Wizard.

11. What would you do for a Klondike bar? Your mom.  JUST KIDDING.  Sorry.  I don't really have a good answer for this question because honestly I'd rather just have a pint of Ben&Jerry's.  Or some Tillamook Mudslide.  That shit is amazeballs.

ha, well this isn't actually the first time I've been obsessed with him. 

I got back into him because I went to see The Grand Budapest Hotel and I was gosh, Ralph Fiennes is a great actor. 

Then I thought about him in Schindler's List which made me think of Liam, Then I thought about how they played brothers in Clash/Wrath of the Titans, which I was like they sure do make good brothers. 

So then, I got home and started looking through their tags the next day about them and I got stuck in the Liam tag. In which, I hadn't seen Non-Stop yet, but there was a lot of good reviews in his tag. 

THEN, I went out to see Non-Stop, which it was wonderful. Because Liam's action movies are a gift from the heavens. 

When I got home, I watched Taken and realized I hadn't seen Taken 2. So I watched that. Then, The Grey was on netflix and after that I had to watch Unknown.
