Do we have any canon information about Rin Nohara’s parents? I couldn’t find anything at all, which feels… oddly silent.

What do you think they were?

civilians?

shinobi who died during the war?

or was Rin an orphan?

Or do you have your own headcanons or theories?

I’m asking because I’d love to write an AU fanfiction where Rin is a main character, and I’m looking for inspiration and different perspectives to build her background. Any ideas, thoughts, or sources are more than welcome!

Rin has always felt like such a gentle but tragic character to me, and the lack of information about her family makes me really curious.

Summary: Kurenai waits for her friend, Rin, to head out after her first shift at the hospital. Now, Kurenai feels that it's time to confess her love for Rin. However, a part of her worries if Rin will even like her back.

Then, once Rin leaves the hospital, she and Kurenai visit her house. What will Rin's parents think?
