Now, onto the fulfillment portion of the deal - I did warn ya, so... If you're squeamish, you know where the door is.

Celeste found out a pair of her drawers went missin', and... Well, y'know how much of a glutton for punishment Roomba turns into, right? She couldn't resist confessing to the panty raid, it's all really sordid, y'know.

To make Roomba atone for the theft, Celeste commanded her to hand over the ones she was wearing, and Roomba had to go the entire day without any underwear on - you can probably guess how she responded to that 'punishment'.

She was totally weird about it, sweating and smiling like a creeper the entire time!

Nagito/Keech - Nagito keeps his hands to himself because (after repeated failures) he believes his proximity is awful. Keech forces him to cuddle a lot, whining about it if Nagito resists too much, often-times just wrapping Nagito's ams around himself after plonking down onto his lap. - Keech is definitely the more soft-hearted, he'll hide it behind a lot of loud bluster and fussing, but Nagito does have a complicated relationship regarding respect and compassion (bordering on being heartless sometimes - not toward Keech, but toward those he doesn't have any obligation toward). - Keech is physically softer than Nagito, because Nagito is bony and angular XD!! Keech is runty, not all that squishy except when compared to Nagito (who he calls 'scarecrow bastard' for a reason).

Kirumi/Chiaki - I don't see either of them as being quick to start the snuggling. Kirumi will do whatever she's commanded, but Chiaki doesn't strike me as being quick to warm up (physically). She would get there eventually, probably move really slowly, though? Scooting closer while she's playing a game for Kirumi (or even playing something with her), leaning against her a bit once the coast is clear... After the initial bashfulness (awkwardness) is over, Chiaki would definitely ask Kirumi to snuggle with her if she's feeling lonely or even if she feels like Kirumi might be. - Most soft-hearted would be Kirumi because of her talent, her responsibility, all of it. Chiaki was quiet but assertive, Hajime even complained about her seeming bratty at one point, she ate some random gunk she found on a sealed door, Chiaki's got more (whatever you would call that) than Kirumi XD!! Kirumi's a pushover, it was a bit of a problem (and as you'll recall, my morgue canon for how Keech would have introduced her to Chiaki in the first place); between the two of them, Kirumi feels more obligation toward looking after others, even though the game was unkind to her, how that looked for her. - Actual squishiest would probably be Chiaki, she's pretty sleepy, she's got a sedentary hobby, and Kirumi would be moving around a lot with all her tasks and busywork. There would definitely be a time when Kirumi couldn't bring herself to ask for a hug from Chiaki (since it wouldn't be her place to impose), but she's definitely hoping Chiaki would offer one XD!! (Which she would, of course~)

Gonta/Gundham - Gonta is definitely the first to snuggle, most likely doesn't have all the baggage associated with ~personal space~ because of his upbringing. Remember when he was carrying Keech around on his shoulders? (Keech introduced them too, by the way XD!! Morgue canon - Nagito and Keech comparing notes about their classmates, Keech asked if there were any "animal lovers" around, which there quite obviously was - Gundham) Anyway, one day when Gundham is moping around and talking like it's the end of the world, Gonta grabs him in a bear-hug without even thinking about it, and Gundham realized he'd never felt that comfortable with somebody before in his life... Maybe because that "somebody" reminds him of his preferred type of person - animals XD!! From that point on, Gundham would kind of whine and sulk whenever he wanted affection from Gonta, unable to ask for it directly, but he would absolutely heap all types of praise onto him. He wouldn't be too bashful to compliment Gonta to hell and back XD!! - They're both softies, c'mon XD!! Gundham has his unusual way of speaking that allows him to praise people without getting self-conscious about being overly-sentimental or mushy, and Gonta just is a nice person. He struggles with his own self-image issues and seems to have depression, so Gundham is extremely kind and careful with him, not a problem for either of them. - Gundham has to be the squishiest XD!!! Hard to tell with them because they both seem pretty solid, but I'd assume Gundham is squishier than Gonta is.

Peko/Maki - I feel like Maki's progress she made with her friends in V3 would lead to her... Kind of ushering Peko along, with her "you're not a tool, you're a person" stuff she doesn't have a hold on yet. (Morgue canon intro again - they got matched up from Nagito and Keech gossiping, Keech wanted some dirt on who needed to be watched the closest, and everything Nagito mentioned about Peko sounded oddly reminiscent to Maki, so he hooked them up. At first it was just to be a nuisance, to see how badly they would annoy each other, but they ended up understanding each other pretty quickly once they started to talk about their pasts.) Anyway, Maki grew a lot since she actually got assimilated into a friend group, and took it upon herself to give Peko what the others gave her. Then they fell in love because of course they did, this is my morgue and I said so XD!! (Fuyuhiko may have had feelings for Peko at one point? But I doubt Peko would ever consider herself 'worthy' to be his partner in that way, because of all the "I'm just a tool" stuff, I doubt she would be able to get over the personal responsibility she feels toward him.) - I feel like the soft-hearted one would be Maki, not just because of her history with looking after little kids, but also because of her time being brought into a friend group when she never expected to be treated kindly (because of her "nature", how she was raised to be). She would help Peko try to move passed that stuff, it'll be difficult since it was her life too, but if anybody was going to understand what that was like, it would be Maki. - Neither XD!! I guess Maki but I still have doubts, but Peko is definitely athletic with her Swordswoman stuff. Maki most likely had some type of physical regimen as well, but Peko's first responsibility (the cover) was the physically-demanding Bo training, while Maki's first responsibility was being a child-minder. She would have been chasing them around, but that's not as demanding, she's probably the squishier one.

Komaru/Kaede - They both seem like cuddlers to me, Kaede in particular but they both seem like they would be comfortable with snuggling, probably early on into their friendship. - They're both soft-hearted, too XD!! Komaru lacks the confidence Kaede has, and Kaede would gladly give her a confidence boost and try to get her out of her "normal girl who can't do anything" routine. Komaru's lack of confidence gets in her way a lot (constantly), but she's not unkind, just nervous. Kaede would definitely help her get through it. - They're both probably pretty squishy, honestly. Komaru was cooped up in that apartment building for some length of time she isn't even sure about, she did get some exercise in while trying to break the door? But she didn't strike me as not squishy. Meanwhile, like Chiaki, Kaede's got a fairly sedentary hobby, she could play piano for any length of time and never get sick of it, so if I had to guess? Kaede is most likely the squishier one between them.

It was so cute how Chiaki was kind of grilling Kirumi to find out her preferences XD!! I honestly expected their interaction to go that way, not to brag or anything XD!!! For the record: nah, Chiaki was giving her a pair of her own underwear, since Kirumi technically initiated a trade - or it looked like she did, anyway.

Well, y'know about how Celeste bets ownership of Roomba, right? She'll go around, challenge people to basically any gambling-type game of their choosing, and winner gets to keep ownership of "her kitty, Miss Miu".

Roomba loves it, by the way - which was actually part of the problem.

The first time Celeste put Roomba up as collateral and won her back effortlessly, Roomba was immediately smitten with her. Between that hot-and-cold routine she does? And her winning her property back, if you get my meaning here...?

Roomba was instantly in love with her, and dove into her laundry basket - basically doing a really pathetic version of a panty raid. Hee.

Celeste noticed somehow - maybe she's got those 'days of the week' underwear? Or she has 'em counted out, and realized one was missing from the heap..?

Anyway, Roomba got caught and "punished" - I guess that was the point where they were official, if they weren't already.

Not because I assumed her hope was too weak to amplify somebody else's, but... Just like Ouma-kun, she's difficult - in a different way from him.

She's comfortable with silence. Most people aren't.

...Myself included, heh. Just because I'm used to it doesn't mean I enjoy it...

Anyway, she's not a big talker... She's not mean, but she's pretty direct. She's not really much for small talk, and she'll pull out a portable game device and start playing something, even while she's in a social setting.

A lot of people dislike it, but it's just one of her quirks.

The more talkative somebody is, the more exhausted she gets... They can continue to talk to her, assuming they don't mind if she only gives them some of her divided attention. That's a problem a lot of the time.

Because her social stamina is pretty low, that made it a challenge... Even before the actual matchmaking started, when it was just me... Thinking about hypothetical outcomes, who might be able to bond most effectively with whom...

I wasn't sure who would suit her. They would need to be really patient and forgiving - she's kind of blunt sometimes. She'll ask questions outright without trying to finesse the situation at all... If she wants to know something, she'll ask. If she doesn't care to find out about it, she won't.

Silence isn't awkward to her, that's all... While the other person might start to feel uncomfortable if the gaps in conversation are too long, she prefers having some time to consider her dialog options, heh.

Then there's always the moment when she pulls out a game to play it, the other person starts to feel like they're getting the brush-off...

I was having a difficult time, even among the techy-types of Ultimates, figuring out who might be best suited for her.

That's exactly why I don't want any credit, despite how much I appreciate that match - I didn't anticipate that one. I wasn't even considering that one.

I didn't realize how much she wanted a social event to be on her own terms - with Tojo-san, it was. Once Ouma-kun directed Tojo-san to check on her and it became a routine interaction for them, she eventually wanted to know more about this person who was so concerned for her well-being.

The fact Tojo-san didn't try to pry her out of her room, tell her to put her game down and listen... That mattered to her, as it turned out - all of it did.

Now they're basically inseparable, heh.

Uh... I'm not sure which one was first...

I wasn't really expecting anything to come out of it. I guess I was fixated on 'building the Ultimate Hope', similar to how some people do Fantasy Sports League stuff, you know? Where they build their team, all while knowing it will never happen?

◦ Have you ever had a failed match?

There hasn't been a failed match so far; Ouma-kun is surprisingly charismatic when he needs to be.

There are a few people that are completely out of his reach - difficult ones that would be difficult no matter what, so it's not entirely his fault... Togami-kun, Saionji-san, Kirigiri-san... I doubt I would have had any better luck than he did, haha.

◦ Did you *want* a partner?

I... Uh... I didn't want a partner, but I also didn't not want a partner, if that makes any sense.

I didn't expect it to actually amount to anything... I don't even really want any credit for any of it, since that's not the point at all.

I know it probably makes little sense... I can't explain it in a way that makes it sound any better... But I don't want any credit or... Anything. For any of it.

Ouma-kun was wanting details about my classmates - this was pretty early on, not long after we met.

I mentioned Nanami-san first, and her tendency to sequester herself in her room for... Concerning lengths of time.

--It's none of my business, haha...

But that was what I immediately mentioned when he wanted to get to know my classmates through me.

He was the one who directed Tojo-san to check on her, make sure she was eating properly, see if she needed anything at all... And something about their presences, I guess? They ended up bonding quickly with no friction at all.

I don't want any credit for how well they end up working together... But I am most proud of that match anyway.
