Anyway I noticed something Kokichi said recently and thought you might be interested in it~~ ᴕ ᴗ ᴕ
I asked him if he was planning on intervening if things were getting out of control (before the dead man's switch activated).
He said he was not. ó ~ ò
(That isn't the thing I wanted to point out to you btw xD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
He stated directly that he wasn't planning on doing anything directly... And he acknowledged that when things got bad he would have been impacted by them (just like everybody else).
So... Instead of believing he would be safe or immune... He just accepted that whatever happened would happen?
(Also not the thing, I'm sorry xD!!!!!!!!!!!)
He got weirdly serious (he does that sometimes but the weird was the fact he had just been cheerful and kind of making light of the situation? which isn't unusual for him)... The thing he got serious about was this specific section:
The files weren't even definite - I knew there was a chance they would get ignored or doubted... And that also had nothing to do with me. If I tried to help warn everybody about the fact she was planning a huge headache and that headache was still on the way, without her? It was outta my hands then.
He admitted he was risking everything (and would lose just as much as everybody else) but wouldn't get involved... Instead of just taking matters into his own hands? Despite how solitary he normally is? He pretends to be lazy but then he'll do more work than it looks to ensure he isn't unprepared...
So this part is really sticking out to me.
Doesn't that sound like hope? Doesn't that sound like he was counting on somebody to protect him?
Later on he mentioned YOU by name, specifically your luck... He said he wanted to test your luck and see if it would protect YOU... But I think it may have been the other way around - he wanted to see if your luck would protect HIM. Looked to me like he was investing his hope in your luck û v û
He even called you his unlucky clover xD!!!!!!!!!!! Just in case you were curious about how he talks about you when you aren't around - he calls you cute things even when you're not around to hear it~~ TT ᴗ TT
