Leviathan summoning a giant, stone manatee (akin to stone thresher familiars). Haven’t worked out the specifics yet, but the main nature clan has moved to the back of this stone giant. It’s back is covered in dense jungle foliage, which obscures most of the buildings the clan use, only a few wooden lair cages, a mage tower and the primary tree are visible from above.

If anyone remembers Yuuma the glider-crafting longneck, say hello to her brother Zaac. Zaac is more traditional, and unlike his sister he hates dragons. Everytime Yuuma sticks one of her dragon-inspired gliders in his face, he yells about how silly she’s being.
I haven’t quite decided what Zaac does for a living, I was kind of leaning toward caring for some sort of animal herd, but I’m not sure that really fits into his lifestyle yet. All I know is he sees dragons as hulking brutes that take up far too much territory and resources to sustain themselves. Makes life hard for the little guys, like him. Whatever he’s been doing, dragons are eating his livestock/destroying his crops/encroaching on his homelands in someway.

As I mentioned in another post, Clove is the Lightmaker and as such is in charge of making all the lamp lights. But when Clove isn’t making lights, he’s tinkering. The snapper loves making toys above all else, but also makes little gadgets with no real purpose.
T.T. is Clove’s robot assistant. It’s name stands for “Tinkers Tool” and the little robot fetches tools, holds gadgets and a few other useful jobs around the workshop. Clove’s given him a mini-scarf made with loose threads from the snapper’s own.
Mu is a large sentient blob. Clove loves Mu because the blob has a wonderful child-like personality. It doesn’t speak, but squeaks. It loves to run around and break things, explore and otherwise get into mischief. It’s always smiling though, and Clove’s inspiration for toys is often this lovable pink blob. Mu reminds him how important it is to have fun.

Also, making slow progress on MC:
So lately I’ve been filling a bunch of google docs with lore info, both clan locations and dragon specifics. It’s cool because a lot of things are actually meshing together and forming a clan atmosphere, rather than just “x dragon does x profession at x clan”. But, it’s still under development so for the time being, have some lore sketches!
Top left is Emberwing, a farmer, admiring his giant pumpkin patch. He is good friends with the snapper, Flik, who helps him plow his fields. Top right is the Inn (which I have yet to name shhh) with it’s bartender, Kraken. Need to forget what happened last night? Kraken will fix you up with a strong tonic.
The bottom bit is a small, horribly undetailed part of the Healer’s Den. Located underground, around the roots of the Naming Tree (see here if you don’t know what that is however, it’s not an oak anymore). It’s a series of tunnels and recesses filled with expansive herb stores and shelves of poultices and potions. The six dragons listed above are healers/botanists and spend a lot of time here. Kynii, clan leader, was a healer serving Gladekeeper before she started her own clan. Once she and her mate, Stonestream, started their clan she immediately set this place up to teach future. She began by teaching Ivy everything she knew, and now Ivy overlooks the others.
So for the Wish Rising/WBW thing: What kind of weather does your clan prefer? Are they nocturnal or active during the day? Do they like to groom each other? Which dragon is the bravest one (not necessarily the smartest in that matter)? Do you have any dragon that fled the clan they were born in?
1+2.The majority of the clan prefer sunny weather! It’s a lot easier to get work/crafting/hunting done. And of course, it’s easier to relax when you can bask in the sun and play on the beach ;) As for times of day, they’re definitely going to prefer daytime. Just like all the plants in nature, they do love some sunshine. (Valerian, for example, would rather be out at night. But that’s because he’s a total curmudgeon and hates other dragons).
