speaking on vg talk i actually played my first video game in two months last night. recursive ruin. fractal type game. grief type fractal type game. its very much at the center of my two darlings naissancee and manifold garden which i think is just absolutely terrific. closest ive ever gotten to a game that feels like the experience of my playing naissancee for the first time while also feeling very much like its own thing. also definitely lots of portal insp going on with the puzzles. super cool game. there was this moment towards the beginning where it got really crazy during this one Vision and i just sat there and then closed out of the game because it felt like a good stopping point. this was me engaging with the emotional pace not a boredom quit. im meeting the game where its at. it deserves a level of reverence I believe. its very cool
