Did some traveling and learning to be open about different perspectives. Drawing more and deciding out what I want to say. Had a fun playing Monster Train 2 and seeing my art in it (try it on consoles and PC!).

"Heiress to the Pyregel fortune, she might have been born with a golden spoon in her mouth but this dragon has a vicious business acumen. Entire circles of Hell have fallen due to her machinations."
And as a Champion of the Pyreborne clan, you know she's a force to be reckoned with. She can't seem to be bothered with fighting most of the time, preferring to let others work for her while she tends to her hoard and plans out her spending, but once she does enter a battle, she is cocky, boastful, and ready to destroy whoever is interrupting her precious time.

There is no nuance button, if your answer is some variation of ‘I would if X’ then the answer is yes.
It’s our first ever Steam release – and we’re nervous, excited, and very sleep-deprived.
We’d love for you to check it out.
Hungry Horrors is a pixel art roguelite deckbuilder where you feed legendary monsters from British and Irish folklore instead of fighting them. Build your deck with traditional dishes like Yorkshire Pudding, Boxty, and Bara Brith. Each card is a meal, and every monster has their own taste.
Get it right? They let you pass.
Get it wrong? You become the next meal.
If you’re into:
• roguelites with actual strategy
• folklore, fairytales, and mythological creatures
• games like Slay the Spire or Hades
• cooking mechanics that aren’t just minigames
• grim but whimsical pixel art
…then you might just enjoy this.
The demo includes:
• 2 full biomes
• 6 unique monsters and 2 bosses
• over 20 traditional dishes
• deckbuilding, buffs, and branching paths
• and a really grumpy Buggane that hates potatoes
We’ve made everything in Godot, drawn every pixel in Aseprite, and poured our hearts (and stress) into getting this playable on Steam – including Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck.
If you give it a try, let us know what you think! Reviews help us so much with visibility right now, especially as a 2-person team self-funding everything.
Thanks for being part of this weird little cooking horror journey.

My favourite 2025 media: year round-up (I forgot to do 2024 lol)
I don't put anything lower than a 4/7 here bc it's about talking about things I like
For context with the way I do rankings:
7/7: I have brainworms
6/7: media I believe transcends typical standards of good
5/7: media that raised my bar, even in a small way
4/7: I liked it
3/7: I have mixed feelings or didn't like it much
2/7: I don't remember it
1/7: I think it made my life actively worse
List:
Praise the Hawkmoth King (ttrpg) - 7/7. entered my brain and did not let go. Fascinating blending of top-notch mechanical design and tradgame elements into pbta. Not for everyone, definitely for me
Hollows (ttrpg) - X/X. I can't give this a ranking yet because I haven't played it but my preliminary rating is 5/7. Seems like it's got some really solid tactical combat bones, and I appreciate the breadth of modules created for it
You Will Die in This Place (ttrpg) - 6/7. Insane book. I'm so excited to get a physical copy, house-of-leaves-ass game
Cairn 2nd Edition (ttrpg) - 5/7. Probably my favourite OSR game. Just really solid, lots of community content
Digital Angel (ttrpg) - 5/7. Got my brain working, great layout, really cool
Realis (ttrpg) - 5/7. Made me think about the role that rules-light but large diceless ttrpgs can have. Really neat core system, excited for the full book
Monster Train 2 (video game) - 4/7. Incredibly addictive roguelike. Has a ton of depth, possibly a bit too easy? I have been playing it a lot so idk if I can't NOT put it on this list
Dandadan Season 2 (anime) - 6/7. Just another great season. They don't miss.
Apothecary Diaries Season 2 (anime) - 6/7. Insanely good. Like, one of THE best shows I've ever seen. Go watch it
Ramna 1/2 Season 2 (anime) - 5/7. I never really understood the concept of a 'comfort watch,' but this has become my comfort show. It's really really good
Elden Ring Nightreign (video game) - 5/7. Very good porting of the soulslike formula into a roguelike.
Takopi's Original Sin (anime) - 6/7. So heartbreaking. Amazing art. I don't think I'm capable of watching it a second time
Silksong (video game) - 5/7. Really good showcase of what a video game can be if the creators are paid well and given the time they need. TBH I don't think I enjoyed it very much but I am REALLY impressed by it
Sinners (film) - 6/7. Action-horror-drama, I watched this on an airplane and was still absolutely glued to the screen. One of the best films I've seen in a long time
There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover, Unless? (anime) - 5/7. Fucked up messy lesbian harem, idk what else you can ask for.
The Summer Hikaru Died (anime) - 5/7. Slow but really enjoyable. I think I would be utterly obsessed with it if I enjoyed doomed yaoi, as-is I still really like it
