“The Nagus” (S01E11, Stardate Unknown) is a surprisingly good early DS9 tale. The A story with Quark is full of humor, quotable lines and a fun mystery, while the B story is a fantastic showcase of the father-son relationship Ben and Jake have and the Star Trek philosophy at play. I modeled this one on the infamous "Hope" posters that have sadly become more meme than inspiration these days.
"I'm sorry, but it's time he learned that when it comes to accumulating profit, women are as capable as men."

The Ferengi Bride
Grand Nagus Zek: Ha-ha, you fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is “Never get involved in a land war with Klingons,” but only slightly less well known is this: “Never go in against a Ferengi, when latinum is on the line!”
“You're not just dead, Quark. You're an idiot.”
