not really a fan of when ppl justify spardacest with 'they're demons, no incest taboo' etc haha, i don't think it's about that at all (mainly talking about vergil&dante here tbh, I don't generally like bringing Nero into the picture). I think it's more that their Westermarck process has been utterly fucked up, trauma and the constant push and pull warped what's a, you know, normal perception of a sibling, any form of love you can think of they satisfy in each other, in my view, because they put each other at the absolute center of the world damnittt. but first and foremost, they're brothers. that kinda justification tends to rule out the horrorific psychological element that keeps me hooked.
