The Galra genes caused Myutsu to develop a more lavender skin as a normal Zeta would have, gave him more Galran eyes and a tail. He retained the typical Zeta traits of being a strong psychic however, and is able to use mind control if he manages to get unfettered eye contact with his victim.

Zetas are a species functioning on the principle of a hive mind - only the higher class Zeta can show some individuality. Myutsu's Galra half makes it harder for him to connect to the Zeta hive-mind, thus making integration into their society exceedingly difficult, due to his heightened individual personality. This is the reason he turned to the Galra society instead, only to find out that Galra generally look down on Hybrids like him.

He joins Lotor as the only male general in his ranks. Though generally loyal to him, he harbors some negative feelings towards him as well (which could be attributed to Lotor generally preferring working with women over men). His apprehension for Lotor only grows when he attempted to dispatch of Narti during a quick escape attempt. Narti's death was only thwarted because someone stepped in at the last minute.

In the team, Myutsu takes on the role of gathering Intel for Lotor, working closely together with Narti, a half-Reptilian-half-Galra hybrid, as well as a human woman named Monika, who is to be trained by Myutsu to hone her inherent psychic abilities.

Initially, Monika and Mewtwo were very apprehensive towards each other, due to the ongoing conflict between Zetas and humans back on Earth. The Zetas are trying to overtake Earth slowly by assimilation into the human society through the creation of human-Zeta hybrids (that are supposed to in the end look like humans, but have all the psychic abilities of a Zeta, thus making overthrowing the governments of Earth much easier). For the creation of these hybrids, they have been abducting humans on a regular basis for the past 100 years or so for breeding purposes, tracking genetic lineages through human family trees. If one human gets abducted by a Zeta, their children will generally also become abductees.

Monika is one of the abductees of the Zeta, and came into space through a final abduction meant to harvest her. Thus, being assigned to train under a Zeta by Lotor is met with suspicion by her, though Myutsu and her grow closer over their various missions. Eventually, they become very close friends and even develop a family bond with each other.
