I think he's a very your brand of character to be into, tbh.

He's an ancient cybertronian, big patriot and when he saw what the war did to his planet, he was so heartbroken he went out on an adventure with bunch of autobots. He's constantly mistaken for a decepticon, to his huge dismay.

He's mostly just brooding somewhere in the corner or looks out the window, but he's actually pretty willing to help out others, and warms up to his crew as the story progresses. Also finds a wife. They saved each other's lives at least like two times
