Po 2,5 roku oczekiwania, mieszkańcy Mysłowic znów mogą korzystać z tramwajów, które wróciły na ulice miasta po kompleksowej przebudowie sieci tramwajowej rozpoczętej w 2022 roku. Inwestycja ta nie tylko unowocześniła infrastrukturę, ale także poprawiła komfort podróżowania i usprawniła komunikację publiczną.
Choć pierwsze tramwaje pojechały już 7 grudnia na linię 26 łączącą Sosnowiec i Mysłowice, to wewnętrzna, tymczasowa linia 34, została uruchomiona dopiero 1 lutego i kursuje na trasie Mysłowice Dworzec PKP – Mysłowice Obrzeża Północna, zapewniając mieszkańcom wygodny dojazd w kluczowych kierunkach.
Na zdjęciach można zobaczyć dwa kultowe tramwaje Konstal 111N, które odegrały ważną rolę w powrocie komunikacji tramwajowej do Mysłowic:
Konstal 111N #360+406 – jako tramwaj rezerwowy.
Konstal 111N #341+342 – obsługujący linię 34 jako pociąg 3401.
