in a previous ask, you mentioned that silesians around katowice would have probably worn Bytom/Rozbark folk clothing. do you happen to know whether that would include gliwice and its smaller parts as well?
Hi! I meant to reply earlier and then forgot, sorry x_x but yes, Gliwice are relatively close to Bytom and by that, people from Gliwice would wear the same clothing.
The exception are people from Schönwald (Szywałd), current district of Gliwice, which as an unique minority descending from Franconia, had their own clothing, languague (Middle High German dialect), architecture and customs in comparision to their Slavic neighbors. The case of Szywał is pretty... grim, given what happened here in 1945, but that's not what the ask is about.
