Life Lessons: Screwed Over
One of the things that I am proud of is the tenure I’ve had with the company that I work for; 6 years is an awfully long time, and I’ve seen probably over 100 people come and depart; however, I’ll perhaps never understand why you work so hard and then someone (whom you think is annoying) gets in front of you and gets a position in which you’ve already told your manager you were interested in. Last year, I got an evaluation and was asked by my boss if say I had an interest in some kind of other position. I told him I had an interest in stocking, but especially frozen stock.A few months had went by and I had mentioned it to a fellow co-worker. Boy, that was a frickin mistake. Time went on and I had mentioned it to a customer and the said co-worker again mentioned about how I’d never get it. A few months later, the dang douche is not only stocking, but filling in for the frozen stocker, earning his 40hrs. Now, tell me, what in the name of Hades is going on here? This dumb@$$ somehow took the dang job away from me!!!! This little s##t is only 17 and I’m 26. WHO HAS TENURE? ME!!! WHO HAS AN INTEREST IN IT? ME!!!! So, when it comes time for evaluation again, I’m going to get into my manager’s ear because that is the lowest blow I’ve ever had working for this company. Explain to me how in the hell a stupid, piece of S%%t, little turd gets this position over me??? This same person apparently had a relative that worked as a manager for Food Lion, which my manager formerly worked for. Don’t tell me there’s not some kind of d#$k sucking going around behind the scenes. Favoritism frickin ruins everything!
