Bucketlist ✔️1: ANTARCTICA!!! Especially doing the Polar Plunge! Yes that’s me diving in, be sure to take notice to the difference in outfits (BTW mine says “This is my Global Warming Suit”, lmk if you get it) 😜🇦🇶🐧🏊🏼‍♀️ . Going to Antarctica was number one on my bucketlist since the day I started traveling. It was also the hardest trip to make happen, but I kept trying and trying and finally it did! . Never have I seen so many majestic animals in real life, and such pristine, untouched landscapes...it was like being in a Nat Geo movie! . This was by far the most epic trip of my life (so far), and I’m so grateful to have done it with @quarkexpeditions 💛 . Raise your hand if Antarctica is on your bucketlist! Bucketlist ✔️4: Hiking the 4 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! Probably my first epic bucketlist adventure ever...and also the first time I had ever done a multi-day hike!💪🏼🏃‍♀️🧗‍♀️⛰ . In fact, it wasn’t even my idea, the tour company was trying to be generous by upgrading my request to just see Machu Picchu, and of course I’d say yes to anything! Even though I had never hiked before, was too broke to buy any gear at the time 3 years ago (I wore $10 fashion boots and a $3 backpack from CVS) and wore my normal athletic gear, I was somehow always first to camp, summit, and to Machu Picchu! . The Inca Trail is a MUST because it’s the only way you can see certain ancient ruins of a lost civilization like this one...and it’s not even fully excavated! . In fact, after thoroughly impressing my guide with my waterfall selfie-tography he took me to that waterfall you see in the distance...and to get there I walked through a jungle of UNTOUCHED RUINS!!!! They don’t have the funds to maintain the forestry around them but can you imagine what they might find?? Maybe we need to do a fundraiser and find out!!!?? 🤯 . Ok I could go on for days about the Inca Trail but I should probably just put it in my Stories lol Including that hidden waterfall! 9 of 30 Most Epic Adventures Before 30🙌: Hot Air Balloon Ride over Cappadocia, Turkey! 🙋🏼🎈🦃 . In all honesty, I wish I knew how to use photoshop so I could make the balloons look as big as they did in real life. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 It was such an amazing sight to see not just the balloons, but these crazy cave structures topped with snow! When I make my own World Wonders list, Cappadocia will 100% be on it because of the cave-homes here and also the underground cities that make you feel like you're in Fraggle Rock (any late 80's kids out there??). . Per usual, the weather gods have shined bright on me for this perfect day in Antarctica! Also the perfect example of global warming I was hoping to get by showing that it was getting pretty warm on the ice! ANTARCTICA!!!! Cannot believe I'm actually here! And there's SO MANY PENGUINS!!! I have so many exciting stories, photos, and videos that I absolutely cannot wait to share with you! ANTARCTICA!!!!!! 🇦🇶🐧⛴🙋🏼😻 Probably the most epic day of my life with @quarkexpeditions ! Not only did I make it to my 7th Continent and get to see these cute penguins everywhere, but I also got to paddleboard and watch them swim under me (and saw a leopard seal), saw a massive ice bridge fall (right after we asked to go under it), and also saw about 10 humpback whales, and best of all, a bunch of killer whales free in the ocean! And that was all just on our first day!!!
