Mylaya are, in short, being that are almost human with the difference of being unable to be turned into vampires, along with a few other traits connected to that. They can be identified by a mark on the back of their neck. 

Humans obviously, demons, half demons, vampires, werewolves, and mylaya. 

The Blood moon is what some people call a lunar eclipse combined with a super moon. There is quite a bit of superstition around this, and in a thin spot where belief holds so much power, and there are students who get a lot of fear put on them in relation to the word ‘blood’, it tends to be quite the harrowing event. 

If you go into town and straight out ask about anything pertaining to the supernatural, you’re not likely to get good responses. That isn’t how you want to go about it. You have to use certain language, because they wont discuss this with outsiders. They won’t really ‘discuss’ it at all, but if you’re a mylaya who really needs cash or a vampire or werewolf who wants to hang out in town in places they adopted to accommodate you, there are places you can go and things you can say. “Someone with a tattoo like mine” might get a job at a “Place that caters to those with specific tastes” and if you like to hang out with other werewolves and eat only the freshest meat, you can find that under a restaurant that cooks people’s hunts for them. The people in town know more about what’s out in those woods than they care to say.

They tend to be similar in size, and be mostly curved lines, but other than that each mark is as unique as the person.
