Hey everyone, its a been a bit since I’ve posted on here and I’m so busy I can barely dedicate my time to my fiancee. I just wanted to share with you all what I have been up to. As you all know I work full time, which is going good can’t say anything negative there. But I have started working out again and changing my diet for now even though its not EXACTLY the way I would want to eat, small changes make a big difference. I am now eating lots of eggs because they are cheap and filling and lots of chicken, lettuce and veggies. I have started drinking more water and switching to green tea as well during the day at work instead of coffee. I have lessened my sugar consumption to my one cup of coffee with creamer and when I make my teas I only put 3-4 sugar packets. I used to put almost 12 sugar packets for my teas and coffee!! So needless to say I feel fantastic after making these mindful adjustments to my eating habits. 

The grade at the bottom of my transcript is the course I’m taking now which is English Comp 2, and we are in week two out of five weeks and this course is going quickly! So learning all the material and actually absorbing and applying it is where its getting a bit tricky. But I’m not one of those students where if I don’t understand something I won’t ask questions. I ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS! I need feedback so I can become a better student and a better writer in general. Never be afraid to ask your instructor for help if you don’t understand something, trust me they aren’t the enemy. The textbook is though...

I’ve been playing around with makeup too, and I SUCK at eye shadow blending. My eye shadow just looked so muddy it bothered me, thanks Youtube Tutorial expectations. But I do enjoy the look of lashes though and would really like to get more. 

My laptop aside from the space bar not reacting as quickly as I would want it to is doing very well otherwise. I do know I may have to buy an SD card soon otherwise with the way my school material is piling up, this laptop won’t keep up. But for the purposes of travelling and getting school work done, I love it. I just now need an SD card and a sleeve for it, because I take my laptop with me to work so if I can get school work done on my breaks, so be it. I’m not using work as an excuse to fall behind and not strive for an A, and if I get a B that’s cool too. 

I never realized how nice it is to study inside like a starbucks or a panera bread just to get out of the house and be fully immersed in my school work. Its kind of awesome and something I can see myself doing throughout the course of my studies. 

I took a break from school tonight only because my mind was no longer absorbing what I was reading. Anytime I’m not understanding what I’m reading or even try to apply it to something where it makes sense. I take a break to relax my mind and come to it later. If I don’t expect a C- grade from me, and I’m too much of an over achiever for that. 

Time to get some much needed rest! Workout tomorrow, shower and get the rest of my homework done before work, so Thursday I can spend some time with my fiancee and not feel guilty about it.
