Hello I have a question that may or may not be personal, if it is please disregard it. I was curious as to how much your kid(s) are involved/interested with your writing? You’ve mentioned them a couple times, and from what I can recall. I just think that’s so sweet! I’ve never really heard about IF authors or, like, fanfic writers in general that have children that are aware of their works.

My son is 19 and my daughter is 16, so they’re old enough to be aware and included. I say “rag on” because my son in particular has never read my stuff, the loser. 😒 I find this particularly funny because one of his online friends is a huge Corinne fan and was the one behind this fantastic meme that now hangs above my desk. My daughter has read Viatica but not Cantata.
Though they may not read it, they’ve both contributed greatly to my writing. Whenever I have an LGBT or trans question, I go to them. Whenever I need a young person’s insight, I go to them. Whenever I hear a phrase from tumbler I don’t know, (often, lol) I go to them.
And they get to hear every fourth sentence out of my mouth be “This [insert media, quote, object] is Cantata coded”. So I guess I forgive them on not having read it. 😅
