But please understand I am a busy mom with ADHD, autism and a chronic pain condition I was left with after complications from a stomach surgery in 2025. Sometimes I get busy and sometimes I just don't feel well and I'm slow to respond. I don't have notifications on and my blogs all run from a queue. Thank you very much. That really means a lot to both of us. We feel the same way about our relationship. We often talk about how lucky we are. How we are in awe of it, of each other, of how easy it is to be together. It works so perfectly that it almost seems too good too be true. Not to say we haven't had our issues. We do. Every one does. But when you let down your guard. Strip away your pride and ego. And just completely love each other with an honest trust and vulnerability then it makes it incredibly difficult for disagreements to last very long. We genuinely want the other one to be happy and are willing to accept fault and make changes in order for that to happen.

He was my best friend first and that created a different kind of dynamic. But also with both of us being autistic with ADHD we also just get each other. Our brains work the same. We can communicate with very few words and we just seem to instinctually know what the other needs. It's obnoxious how often we say the same things at the same time. It's as if we were made for each other.

The point I'm saying all of this is for all the people that have given up. When we met I was gutted by someone else. A completely shattered version of myself. And the last thing I was interested in was a relationship. And he didn't actually believed in true love. He honestly thought the entire world was just faking happiness and settling in with the person they could tolerate the most. I think he gave in to his feelings first. I begged my best friend not to let me do this again. Not to let me fall in love. But thank God he failed 😂😂

When we met he had no idea you could be with someone that doesn't just accept you for how you are but actually chooses you because of who you are and I had no idea I wasn't too much. Too complicated. Too quirky. Too broken. Too needy. So if you think you've met the love of your life and it didn't work out and now you're giving up. Or you've just had your heart broken one too many times, it's okay to protect yourself, but just don't give up. Don't shut yourself off from letting people get to know you. Or from you getting to know people. Make friends. Let them in. You just never know what you're going to find.

I am 100% all feline energy and he's my silly goose. Loyal, curious, silly, protective, intelligent. Who would have ever thought a cat would fall for a goose. And some days I'm sure he certainly feels like my prey😈🐈‍⬛ But he can hold his own😈🪿 So just keep an open mind. It's okay to know what you need but let go of the rules. Let love find you. Everyone deserves to find their goose🐈‍⬛🍉💜🪿
