Birch (left) and his sister, Oak (right) are doing good too. They’re 5yrs old now and have very unique personality’s (behaviours?).
Birch is still quite small due to him being a runt... but sometimes I do wonder if there’s something else that’s preventing him from growing properly. Not only that but he happens to like rubbing his face and top of head on things to the point of injuring his scales. (Currently trying to figure how to stop/prevent that behaviour tbh)
Oak, on the other hand seems to be growing well and has not developed the bad habits his siblings has. She’s a bit clumsier, but that may just be because she can’t balance as well without her tail (she dropped it ~3yrs ago). She tends to be more vocal than Birch (chirps/squeaks). I think it’s cute- sometimes I’ll hear her in the middle of the night when I’m trying to sleep :) chirp chirp

Im feeding the crested geckos, sitting on the floor with their food cups next to me, and you know what absolute bastard wanders over? pineapple. Carolina anoles (Anolis carolinensis). Their genders are mentioned in the pictures themselves. People I knew growing up used to snatch these guys off of bushes and then keep them as pets. The neatest specimen I saw was one that lived in some friends’ yucca plant. It had a ridge on its back that made it look like the Jesus Christ lizard.
Here is Pazuzu also called Puzzles and Puzzlebutt. He is 5 years old and is the best banana boy.. He's a rescue. He was inbred and has vision and balance problems. He was also mauled as a baby and has a tiny weird arm as a result and can't climb as well as the others. All this aside, he's very sweet and very pretty. He's my most mellow and friendly gecko and despite having a rough entry into this world, he isn't afraid of humans. He thrives and is very clever, knowing how to navitage his tank and hunt without too many issues and tell me when he wants food or a water change.
look at my sweet sweet gal!!!!
