Hey everyone :) Finally made my first post on this blog!!!! I spent quite some studying and taking notes on chemistry and thought I’d share (since my notes are usually super messy lmaoo). I think I’m also going to start the 100 days of productivity, especially since I tried in my previous blog but got lazy af with it so I only had a few posts on it. Hopefully this time I’ll actually put effort into the challenge and stay motivated to do it.
16.10.17 Second Week 📅
ft. edge of mainland Australia + 365 diary! It’s my second week in Hobart, I feel like I’ve learnt a lot even though there aren’t that many clinics! I didn’t end up doing that much study on the weekend, but I did consolidate on a few core conditions like how to manage angle closure attacks! This week is a bit more busy, so I might not be able to finish revising all of the therapeutics course within these two weeks, but I’ve still got a month, so it should be okay..? 🙃

ENLARGE FOR BETTER QUALITY A complete mess also known as a history essay plan. God A levels are so much harder to me, for the first time I’m actually needing to put effort in. Please other year 12 and 13 students, send me tips.
And yes, I’m not proud of calling this mess my first photo post, but what can you do?
i currently work two jobs (only one of which i get paid for bc the other one is as an undergrad in a research lab) and i'm also taking a summer class at a local community college. at one of my jobs, i've been given a lot of independence, responsibility, and generally they treat me as an adult (not like "you're a teenager" kind of adult, but like an adult adult) and honestly i'm very overwhelmed and kind of scared. do you have any tips to balance it all/cope????
Hey babe!
The best way to balance lots of responsibilities is to designate specific times for each one, and to only focus on one thing at a time. Since one job likely has a set schedule, you already have time set aside for that one. Depending on the level of freedom they’re giving you at the other (do you have to come in at certain times still? or is it just “get your work done and it’s all good” situation?), you may need to work out set times that you will do your work for that job, as well as your homework for your summer class. Sit down with a planner and enter in the set times first, and then work in around that all your other responsibilities so you make sure everything gets done.
Once it’s time to work on one task, try to totally forget about the others. Focus on getting one thing done at a time so you don’t get overwhelmed!
It’s also super important to give yourself plenty of breaks to get enough sleep, eat without working, spend time with family/friends, and just enjoy your summer in general. Planning and writing everything down will make sure it gets done and you’re not always worrying that you’re forgetting something.
Best of luck!
